Conveyor component monitoring
A sensing device and system is configured for sensing the temperature, vibration or other characteristics of conveyor rollers and transmitting data pertaining to the condition of the rollers to a remote server to indicate maintenance requirements. The system is configured to only transmit data when an abnormal characteristic is sensed, so that power and data requirements of the monitoring system is minimized. Each sensing device is installed in the shaft of a conveyor roller with its transmission antenna positioned to protrude from an end of the roller. A central server receives the transmitted sensor data and a user interface provides maintenance information to a user so that any required maintenance of a roller can be initiated.
HOPPER APPARATUSES FOR PROCESSING A BULK SOLID, AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A hopper apparatus comprises a movable wall comprising opposing walls movably connected to a support assembly and oriented at acute angles relative to a central vertical axis of the support assembly, and movement control devices configured and positioned to move the opposing walls along the support assembly to control dimensions of a discharge outlet at least partially defined by converging ends of the opposing walls; a liner assembly comprising liner structures at least partially overlying inner surfaces of the opposing walls and configured to remain at least partially stationary relative to the opposing walls during movement of the opposing walls; and pressure sensors between the inner surfaces of opposing walls and portions of the liner structures thereover. A bulk solids processing system and a method of processing a bulk solid are also described.
Modular chute system
A modular chute system includes a support bridge having a main body and a plurality of mounting plates spaced apart along the main body. The support bridge has a first end configured to be secured to an infeed component and a second end configured to be secured to a discharge component. The system includes a plurality of ribs, each having an outer portion and an inner portion, where the plurality of ribs is secured to the plurality of mounting plates. The system also includes an inner lining secured across the inner portion of the plurality of ribs, and a plurality of panels each having a mounting bracket on a proximal end secured between the outer portion of adjacent ribs using the mounting bracket. A distal end of each panel is secured through a respective anchor slot to form a continuous sliding surface from the infeed component to the discharge component.
Vibratory conveyor and method for conveying silicon fragments
A vibrating conveyor having a conveyor chute which has a conveyor surface consisting of silicon, wherein plastic elements are provided between the base body of the conveyor chute and the conveyor surface. The vibrating conveyor is suitable for use in a method for conveying silicon chunks.
Wear Plate Fastener System
The present invention provides a wear element assembly comprising: (i) a wear element comprising an aperture adapted to receive a fastener, the aperture having a tapered upper region, (ii) a fastener comprising a head region, and a threaded region distal to head region, the head region of the fastener being tapered so as to frictionally engage with the tapered upper region of the aperture, wherein, in use, the threaded region of the fastener is inserted into the aperture and an underlying substrate to locate the wear element on the substrate, and a nut is wound onto the threaded region to secure the wear element to the substrate.
Set of lining plates made of radial tires and a method for manufacturing lining plates made of radial tires
Disclosed is a set of lining plates made of radial tires to protect pieces of equipment from abrasion and to absorb impacts where said set of lining plates comprises a plurality of lining plates made of radial tires that are laid out next to each other in order to line the surface of a given equipment. The lining plates that make up the set are fitted with tongues and grooves so as to allow them to be joined together and make it possible for a perfect fixation through special hook-type screws in order to secure an effective sealing of the equipment surface on which said plates were installed, thus preventing any material from entering the space between the lining plates. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the lining plates of the set using radial tires.

Chute liner
The disclosure relates to a chute liner for mounting on a shelf of a material transfer chute. The shelf has at least one locking formation aperture formed therein. The chute liner has a base for mounting on the shelf. The base has an operatively upper surface that comes into contact with material passing through the chute and an opposed operatively lower surface. The base has at least one mounting formation that depends from the operatively lower surface of the base that defines a passage which in use is passed through the locking formation aperture in the shelf. The chute liner also has a locking member passed through the passage until it operatively engages the mounting formation to lock the base to the shelf.
PICKING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A PICKING DEVICE
A picking device for piece goods is disclosed, in which cleaning of the picking device is facilitated. The picking device may include a shelf row having shelf bases, each including a plurality of storage chutes, and a retrieving device, via which piece goods can be retrieved. A shelf base may include a frame structure, chute partitions, chute bases, and blocking devices, which are coupled to a control device. Two chute partitions and one chute base may define one elongate storage chute, assigned to each chute base is a support device, on which the chute base rests and which is designed such that another chute base can be slid between the resting chute base and the support device. Assigned to each chute base is a holding means, which prevents the chute base from sliding in the longitudinal direction of the storage chute when the chute base is on the support device.
CONVEYANCE APPARATUS
A conveyance apparatus (1) according to an embodiment includes: a conveyance unit (3) configured to convey an article that is charged from an outside and contains fat on at least a surface of the article, wherein a hydrophilic coating layer is formed on a conveyance front surface (31) of the conveyance unit (3).
