SYSTEM FOR ASSEMBLING A MODULAR SPIRAL CHUTE AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
20210276808 · 2021-09-09 ·

A system for assembling and installing a modular spiral chute includes a base support assembly having a plurality of rear rollers and a slot, where the slot is orientated in the base support assembly to receive a vertically positioned stanchion of the modular spiral chute. The system also includes a removable roller clamp having a front roller and configured to be inserted into the slot to form an aperture in the base support assembly to encircle the stanchion so that when the roller clamp is inserted into the slot the stanchion is rotatably secured vertically within the base support assembly between the plurality of rear rollers and the front roller. In addition, the system includes a caster mounted plate positioned on top of the base support assembly and configured to increase stability of the stanchion when secured within the base support assembly.

Conveying system for conveyable and non-conveyable articles

A conveying system is disclosed. The conveying system may have a first conveying apparatus that conveys a first article to a first location. The conveying system may also have a second conveying apparatus that conveys a second article to a second location. The conveying system may have a frame, a chute connected to the frame, and a third conveying apparatus. The chute may convey the first article received from the first conveying apparatus to a discharge location. The third conveying apparatus, disposed below the chute, may convey the second article received from the second conveying apparatus to the discharge location. The chute may be movable relative to the to the third conveying apparatus, such that the first or second article may be selectively conveyed to the discharge location via the chute or third conveying apparatus, depending on the position of the chute relative to the third conveying apparatus.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROTECTING PORTIONS OF MATERIAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT USED IN AGGREGATE INDUSTRY

A magnetic fastener and wear liner combination for use with material processing equipment for processing aggregate material, where a reverse taper counter bore hole of the wear liner is made to couple and decouple from a magnetic fastener which has a urethane cap, with a urethane cap reverse taper side. The magnetic fasteners are re-useable on replacement liners as the liners need replacement. The attachment and detachment of the magnetic fasteners is made to be simple and secure.

Cell funnel system

A funnel is formed with a planar base having a forward edge, a rearward edge, and parallel side edges. The funnel has side walls extending upwardly and outwardly from the side edges at an angle from horizontal. The funnel has a rear wall extending upwardly and rearwardly from the rearward edge at an angle from horizontal. The base and the side walls and the rear wall form a chamber with a forward passageway. A support assembly removably couples the funnel to an edge. The support assembly includes a forward support plate extending downwardly from the forward edge of the base at an angle from horizontal. The support assembly includes a rearward support plate extending downwardly from the base parallel with the forward support plate from a location spaced rearwardly from the forward support plate.

Aerial roof height item receiving chute
10919702 · 2021-02-16 ·

An aerial roof height item receiving structure demonstrating novel solutions to issues of item drop damage, noise, aesthetic, weather, item temperature, and safety concerns related to aerial based item delivery systems is presented. A chimney like chute can be made high enough to avoid collisions with people or pets yet still safely receive items dropped into it from heights through the use of impact absorbing pads and a mesh box spring within the chute. Heat exchange with the building structure or active heating or cooling of the box spring mitigate snow, ice, and item temperature issues. A swing door to function as an aerial unit charging platform for added distance delivery can be added to the top of the chute. An item drop box placed at human accessible height can also be added to allow the chute to dual function for traditional item deliveries.

Modular Spiral Chute
20210078803 · 2021-03-18 ·

A spiral chute having a center column assembly with a first center column segment is disclosed. The center column segment has a plurality of pairs of opposed apertures. The spiral chute also includes a plurality of chute assembly sections, each including a chute support arm, a chute section coupled to the chute support arm, an outer wall support coupled to a distal end of the chute support arms, an outer wall segment coupled to the outer wall supports, and a support arm bolt having a distal end and a proximal end. The distal end of each support arm bolt passes through a corresponding one of the first plurality of opposing apertures and engages a proximal end of the chute support arm such that the proximal end of the chute support arm abuts the first center column segment. A method of constructing a spiral chute is also disclosed.

Merger extension chute and conveyor

A conveyor used with a harvester such as a wind rower has a chute at its discharge end with a deflection surface which controls the throw trajectory and thus the throw range of crop being cut. The orientation angle of the deflection surface relatively to the conveyor may be varied as a function of the particular crop throw characteristics to change the throw range of the conveyor as needed to form merged windrows of a particular crop while avoiding windrow widths which are too wide for efficient harvesting.
