BULK DISPENSER ACTUATION DETECTION
A gravity-feed dispenser is connected to a hopper configured to hold a bulk material for dispense. The gravity-feed dispenser includes a spout and a valve separating the hopper from the spout. An actuator assembly is connected to the valve and includes a detectable element. The actuator assembly is operable to move the valve between open and closed conditions to selectively permit bulk material to pass from the hopper out of the spout. A fixture is configured to engage and support the gravity feed dispenser. A sensor is connected to the fixture and is positioned relative to the actuator assembly. The sensor operates to detect the detectable element of the actuator assembly and produce a signal indicative of the open condition or the closed condition.
Transporter system
A transporter system is provided for transporting a stream of substantially cylindrical objects, the transporter system comprising an intermediate orientation changing transporter section arranged between the first and second transporter section, the intermediate orientation changing transporter section comprising a plurality of stationary guide rails arranged to delimit at least part of an orientation changing passage through which the stream of substantially cylindrical object is guided and a rotatable frame comprising a first movable guide rail configured to delimit the remaining part of the orientation changing passage when the rotatable frame is in a first rotational position and a second movable guide rail configured to delimit the remaining part of the orientation changing passage when the rotatable frame is the second rotational position.
VARIABLE FRICTION CHUTE
A product distribution system including a chute and a controller. The chute includes a variable friction angled surface configured to receive a product and/or slidably transport the product along the angled surface. The controller is operatively coupled with the chute. The controller is configured to vary an amount of friction at the angled surface based on information about the product.
Device for Transporting Objects
The load is carried on a horizontal conveyor belt which is driven by a motor. The conveyor system is carried on a base which supports a number of lever arms. The lever arms are balanced by a fixed weight and by movable weights. There is a clutch and brake mechanism on the drive axis of the main drive motor so that the load may be accelerated or stopped. The movement of the levers is directly proportional to the load so that the braking or accelerating forces are also proportional to the load. The clutch and brake mechanism may be controlled by a cam and piston.
SELECTIVE POWDER DOSING FOR AN ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
An additive manufacturing system can include a powder dispenser; a gate adjacent to the powder dispenser; a recoater blade system; and a control operable to move the gate with respect to the powder dispenser to selectively dispense powder from the powder dispenser.
Component supply device
A component supply device includes a storage section, a mounting section, and a component support section. The storage section stores multiple components. The storage section is mounted to the mounting section. The storage section is attachable and detachable in relation to the mounting section. The component support section supports, in a scattered state, multiple components which are discharged from an opening of the storage section which is in a state of being mounted to the mounting section.
AUTONOMOUS MONITORING SYSTEM BASED ON MAGNETIC FIELD VARIATION, ALLOWING UNCRUSHABLE MATERIAL TO BE PREDICTED, ANTICIPATED AND DETECTED IN REAL TIME AND THEIR ASSOCIATED METHODS
1.It is disclosed an autonomous monitoring system based on a magnetic field variation: (a) that allows (i) predicting wear, failures and cracks in mining equipment; (ii) prevent and detect, in real time, uncrushable material such as metal and/or material from old mining or past operations and/or parts or pieces of mining equipment; (b) to be used/installed in mining and/or loading equipment, such as, but not limited to, cables shovel, hydraulic shovel, a loader or other type of loader; (c) that allows detecting strange metal bodies, and also, knowing the level of wear and/or detecting a failure or fracture in the parts of these equipment almost immediately, particularly, but not limited to, the teeth or part of them, preventing unscheduled stops and accidents of the personnel, and improving effectiveness and efficiency in the planning of predictive and preventative maintenance operations;
2.an installation method of the system.
3.an operating method of the system.
4.tooth, ground engaging tool or part of a mining and/or loading equipment, which comprises one or more monitoring devices.
Rooftop delivery receptacle for unmanned aerial vehicles
A rooftop package delivery receptacle for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) is transformed from a normally closed downwardly pitched transparent or translucent aesthetically acceptable rooftop aperture, appearing as an ordinary skylight, into a preferably larger substantially horizontal delivery platform providing a safe, secure, above ground location for a drone to land or tether for package delivery. Upon a wireless command signal from either an arriving UAV or a local user, the curb frame mounted receptacle containing a center pivoting platform supporting a plurality of slidably mounted panels rotates upwards and expands both longitudinally and transversely enabling a larger substantially horizontal landing area. After the package is delivered the platform contracts to its original size and continues in an upwards rotation urging the package to move inwards for collection. A pair of weatherproof accordion shaped shudders surround the openings and enclose any gaps during the operation.
Flume, and method, for supplying vegetable pieces
A flume for supplying vegetable pieces in a supply of liquid, the flume extending between a flume inlet and a flume outlet, the flume comprising: a gulley section having an upstream inlet end at the flume inlet and a downstream outlet end, the gulley section having opposed sidewalls and a gulley floor therebetween, and a spreader section having opposed first and second lateral walls and a spreader floor therebetween, the spreader section having an upstream end connected to the downstream outlet end of the gulley section, the spreader section progressively increasing in width between the opposed first and second lateral walls in a downstream direction from the upstream end to a downstream end of the spreader section, wherein the opposed first and second lateral walls are each outwardly inclined away from a longitudinal axis of the spreader section by a respective angle ?? for the first lateral wall and ?? for the second lateral wall, in respective opposite directions, which extends from the upstream end of the spreader section to the downstream end of the spreader section, wherein the gulley section has a width of the gulley floor at the downstream outlet end of W1, the length of the spreader section between the upstream and downstream ends of the spreader section is N, and the dimensionless ratio N/W1 is within the range of from 2 to 15, and wherein the sum of ?? and ?? is from 10 to 25?.
Conveyor discharge with diverting rollers
A sorting system having a main sorting conveyor sorting articles to discharge conveyors feeding articles to diverters having freely rotatable, gravity-activated rollers arranged in an inclined plane. The orientations of the rollers are selectably changed to divert articles riding downward along each diverter to different destinations. The main sorting conveyor comprises a roller belt with belt-roller actuators at sorting locations. The belt-roller actuators and the diverters are identical mechanisms.
