Spiral conveyor
A spiral conveyor includes a mesh chain spirally wound around and rotate synchronously with an outer circumference of each rotary drums. The inner side of each chain link of the mesh chain close to the rotary drum is provided with a drive head extending towards a drum body of the rotary drum. The drive head is provided with a convex-arc edge and includes an arc slot provided on each of two sides or on a single side of the drive head. Driving poles are evenly distributed around the outer circumference of the rotary drum and engage with the drive heads of each layer. When the inner side of the mesh chain adapts to the perimeter of the outer side of the mesh chain, the drive head on the inner side of the mesh chain engages with the driving pole.
Curve conveyor and use of a conveyor module
Curve conveyor (1), comprising a guiding track extending along a circular arc (2), which guides a conveying part (3) of an endless conveyor (4), the conveying part comprising a plurality of chain strands (5, 6, 7) which with a common center of curvature (C) are spaced apart at an equal radial pitch, and a drive (8) cooperating with the chain strands, which during operation leads the chain strands at a mutually equal angular speed through the guiding track, wherein the chain strands are each built up from a singular series of successive conveyor modules (9) which are each provided at their top with a substantially flat top surface, and wherein the radial pitch between the chain strands substantially corresponds to the radial width of the conveyor modules so that sides of the conveyor modules with enclosure of a narrow gap adjoin and the top surfaces in the conveying part form a substantially uninterrupted conveying surface.

Curved belt conveyor
A curved belt conveyor includes a conveyor belt with a hooking element associated with an outer periphery of the conveyor belt and multiple pairs of rollers guiding the hooking element. A plurality of supporting elements is placed at the outer periphery, each for supporting at least one pair of rollers. A holding space for the hooking element is defined among each pair of rollers and a corresponding supporting element. A main roller of one of the pairs of rollers is movable along a trajectory extending along a longitudinal development of a corresponding main roller shaft between a releasing position, wherein the rollers are spaced to define an intermediate space therebetween to allow the passage of the hooking element, and a retaining position, wherein the rollers are close to each other to prevent passage of the hooking element from the corresponding holding space through the corresponding intermediate space.

Helical conveyor
A helical conveyor for transporting products in downward direction by means of gravity comprises a frame and a helical track extending around an upright centerline. The helical track is supported by the frame and comprises a bottom for bearing a product. The bottom has an inclination angle in a direction (X) along the helical track. At least a portion of the bottom is formed by a transport surface of a drivable conveying system such that the transport surface has a predefined speed in downward direction (X) along the helical track. The inclination angle at an inner bend of the transport surface of the conveying system is larger than 20.
Modular product dispensing and verification system and method
A modular, scalable prescription dispensing and verification system includes a four-tiered central conveyor, dispensing control system with stored patient orders for creating dispensing and routing itineraries, carriers transporting itineraries and dispensed medications, induction station, pairs of processing stations divided by the conveyor, including automated and manual dispensing, verification, cold chain, and ambient packaging. Crossover conveyors transport carriers between dispensing station pair members for dispensing multiple products per station pair. One conveyor tier returns empty carriers to induction, another transports carriers from each dispensing station to verification, then to packaging, another transports carriers from induction to dispensing, then to additional dispensing, another conveys carriers from induction to dispensing stations. Carrier stops halt carriers at stations for removal for processing, replacement, and transport to the next station, or deposit on another tier and transport to a different station. The system may include two conveyor modules, one for refrigerated or ambient unit-of-use items, another for ambient countables.
