A sealing device for sealing the side regions of a conveyor belt having a sequence of sealing elements being arranged on either side of the longitudinal axis of the conveyor belt. The sealing elements are spaced apart and rest on the surface of the conveyor belt in a resilient manner, the individual sealing elements being arranged at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the conveyor belt and pointing in the direction of movement of the conveyor belt by their inner end. The sealing elements consist of strip-like guide ledges.

Intermodal storage and transportation container

An intermodal container for transporting frac proppant, such as frac sand, and/or other types of granular material is disclosed. The intermodal container is designed to receive frac sand from a quarry or other frac sand supply source. Once the container is filled with material, the container is loaded onto a transportation device and transported to a well site. Once received at the well site, the containers can be stacked and the frac sand stored until needed. Once the frac sand is needed, the containers are placed on a base unit and the container discharges its contents onto a conveying system formed as part of the base unit. The conveying system directs the frac sand to a blending location. The empty intermodal containers can be removed from the base unit and loaded onto a transportation device to be refilled at a mine site.

TROUGH BELT CONVEYOR

Trough belt conveyor having a flexible conveyor belt loop (6) tensioned around end pulleys (3, 4). Trough forming surfaces (12) are provided under opposite side edge portions (11) of a transport section (7) of the belt (6) and are inclined upward from the transport deck (9) in a laterally outward direction transverse to the transport path (8). The transport section (7) of the belt (6) rests on the transport deck (9) and on the trough forming guide surfaces (12) so as to form a trough extending along the transport path (8). Passages (14) are provided at least in the trough forming guide surfaces (12) or in zones of the transport deck (9) along the trough forming guide surfaces (12), for allowing material caught between the conveyor belt (6) and the trough forming guide surfaces (12) to drop through the guide surfaces (12) or the transport deck (9).

A support station includes a frame, at least two support rollers separated transversely by a gap, and a nip angle protector, which includes, for the or each gap, a gap protector placed longitudinally opposite the gap on an upstream side of the gap. The support station can be manufactured by obtaining a profile with a continuous upper edge and a continuous lower part along its entire length, and cutting the space and the slots, by T-punching the profile.

ENCLOSED CONVEYOR

The present invention refers to an enclosed conveyor (10) for bulk material (100), comprising an enclosure (2) having on its interior a roller (43) capable of supporting a transport portion (31) of a conveyor belt (30) and an air support system capable of supporting a return portion (32) of said conveyor belt (30). Thus, such enclosed conveyor (10) can move bulk material (100) without damaging the transport portion (31) of the conveyor belt (30), due to a higher pressure enforced by an unequal distribution of said material (100) over said transport portion (31), and also reduce the friction between the return portion (32) and a bottom plate (23) of the enclosed conveyor (10), in order to enable the proposed conveyor (10) to be manufactured at a longer length and with a smaller traction engine if compared to a conventional enclosed conveyor.
