CONVEYOR BELT SYSTEM
A conveyor belt system includes a frame with a conveyor belt driven by at least two rollers so that an upper belt functions as transport surface and a lower belt functions as return, wherein the frame has an upper segment extending substantially above the upper belt and a lower segment extending substantially under the upper belt, wherein the upper segment has at least two upper standing walls with a mutual spacing which, at least at the position of the upper belt, is smaller than the width of the conveyor belt, and wherein the lower segment has at least two lower standing walls with a mutual spacing which is greater than the width of the conveyor belt, wherein the upper belt is supported on either side by a plate extending respectively from below the upper belt to an outer side of the lower standing wall.
Method and system for conveying articles and an apparatus for doing the same
A conveyor for transporting and elevating articles and a method and system for conveying articles up inclines is provided. The conveyor has a conveyor belt and a plurality of support elements extending outward from the article-conveying surface of the conveyor belt advancing upward along the incline. The support elements prevent conveyed articles from sliding down the conveyor belt on the incline. The article-conveying surface of the conveyor belt may provide a low-friction retention surface to articles leaning away from the conveyor belt on the incline.

Low friction, direct drive conveyer belt
A thermoplastic endless belt has a smooth outer surface substantially free of discontinuities and an inner surface with a plurality of teeth at a given belt pitch. The teeth are adapted to engage a pulley with circumferentially spaced sheaves at a pulley pitch greater than the belt pitch. The belt is slightly stretchable so that the pulley can drive the endless belt when engaging the teeth within a range of load on the belt. Means are provided to minimize friction between the belt and the drive pulley. Also, a position limiter ensures that the driven tooth stays engaged optimally with the drive sheave.

Apparatus and method for separating food product from conveyor belt
A food production apparatus includes a conveyor belt and a wire scraper. The conveyor belt supports and transports a food product. The wire scraper includes a wire and a motor. The wire is located above and extends across the conveyor belt to temporarily separate the food product from the conveyor belt. Operation of the motor causes the wire to continuously cycle back and forth between 1) movement in a first direction above and across the conveyor belt and 2) movement in a second opposite direction above and across the conveyor belt.

MULTI-DRIVE CONVEYOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USING SAME
Disclosed is a conveyor system and method for advancing an item relative to a transport axis. The conveyor system includes a conveyor belt and a modular drive assembly having at least one drive module and at least one take-up module. Each drive module and each take-up module has a housing and a pulley assembly positioned within the housing. The respective positions of the housings of the at least one drive module and the at least one take-up module relative to the transport axis are selectively adjustable to modify the conveyor movement pathway. Moreover, the drive module can also include a drive pulley removal apparatus that is detachably secured within the housing for selective removal and replacement of a drive pulley.

Transport chute and assembly line using same
A transport chute includes an upper slide defining an opening, a lower slide coupled to the upper slide, a pivoting plate pivotably coupled to the upper slide, and a resilient member coupled between the pivoting plate and the lower slide. The pivoting plate is configured to open and close the opening. The resilient member is configured to drive the pivoting plate to close the opening after the opening is opened. A workpiece is transported from the upper slide to the lower slide through the opening.
