Catenary troughing idler

A catenary idler comprises a cable, a plurality of bearing surfaces disposed along a length of the cable, and a plurality of rollers disposed over the plurality of bearing surfaces. The plurality of bearing surfaces are fixed to the cable. The plurality of bearing surfaces may be a plurality of clamps. The plurality of rollers are rotatably supported upon the plurality of bearing surfaces. The cable may be rotatably supported at its ends. The catenary idler may include a first compression spring at a first end of the cable and a second compression spring at a second end of the cable. The rollers may be formed of an oil filled nylon. A conveyor belt impact bed includes a frame, a plurality of catenary idlers supported upon the frame, and a conveyor belt supported upon the plurality of catenary idlers.

A conveyor comprises a belt, at least one roller supporting the belt on a lower side thereof, the roller having opposite ends and a spindle at each opposite end, and a roller support for the roller. The roller support comprises a pair of spaced apart support brackets positioned at opposite lateral sides of the belt, a torque tube having opposite ends pivotally supported by the brackets, and a pair of spaced apart arms fixedly secured to the torque tube, one of the arms located near one of the opposite ends of the roller and the other of the arms located near the other of the opposite ends of the roller, each arm having an upwardly opening notch therein for receiving a respective roller spindle. The torque tube is pivotable between a first position wherein the roller supports the belt and a second position wherein the roller is spaced below the belt and permits sufficient clearance for the roller spindles to be lifted out of the notches in the arms and the roller to be removed from the roller support.

POSITION LIMITER FOR FLIGHTED CONVEYOR BELT

A conveyor employs an assembly at a drive end having a position limiter assembly configured to accommodate flights in a conveyor belt while ensuring proper engagement between the conveyor belt and a drive. The end assembly includes opposing end plates, a drive extending between the end plates and a position limiter assembly extending between the end plates below the drive for ensuring proper engagement of a conveyor belt with the drive. The position limiter comprises a series of spaced apart rollers mounted to and spaced from a mounting bar extending between the end plates. Roller mounting arms connect the rollers to the mounting bars.

The belt-guide includes at least two rolling-element bearings. The inner races of the rolling-element bearings are respectively mounted on axles. The axles are parallel to each other and stationary relative to the conveyor frame. The outer races of the rolling-element bearings have direct contact with the conveying belt.
