Dental Bite Block for Final Impression and Bite Registration
A dental bite block for final impression and bite registration includes at least one dental impression tray, a plurality of spikes, and at least one wax rim. The plurality of spikes is connected onto the at least one dental impression tray, and the plurality of spikes is oriented away from the at least one dental impression tray. Resultantly, the plurality of spikes is able to traverse into the at least one wax rim thus mounting the at least one wax rim onto the at least one dental impression tray.
EDENTULOUS SPECIFIC SUPPORT AND AESTHETIC RESTORATIVE APPLIANCE
An edentulous mouth insert appliance for mounting upon the edentulous gum of a patient, comprises a u-shaped frame formed of a rigid flexible material, with a portion to embrace the gum and a portion extending beyond the gum with an exposed surface to replicate a bite aligned with the corresponding occlusal plane. The frame has a base supporting a pair of inner and outer side walls spaced apart by the base a distance allowing the frame to encircle and cover the edentulous gum with a space between inner surfaces of the frame and the gum. A fill within the frame fills the space between the frame and the gum upon which the appliance is fitted, providing a void-free seal between the apparatus and the gum.
Therapeutic Tooth Bud Ablation
A system including a sensored ablation probe tip and a virtual stent, said sensored ablation probe tip for use in a tooth bud ablation procedure that results in tooth agenesis, said sensored ablation probe tip for use with an ablation probe unit. A system including a sensored ablation probe tip and a stent, said sensored ablation probe tip for use in a tooth bud ablation procedure that results in tooth agenesis, said sensored ablation probe tip for use with an ablation probe unit
Light curing dental system
A light curing dental system comprising a light emitting tray that precisely distributes an optimal amount of curing light energy to internal, external and extra oral portions of the dental arch to cure a dental material. The light curing dental system generally includes a light source, a light emitting dental tray, an activation module and a photocurable dental material.
Abutment and Dental Implant System for Installing Dental Prosthetics
An abutment for a dental implant system includes a main body extending along a longitudinal axis from a first end to a second end. The main body includes a peripheral side surface having a continuously-flared profile from the first end to the second end. The abutment further includes one or more impression features formed at the second end of the main body and one or more scan features formed at the second end of the main body. A clocking element is formed at the first end of the main body. The abutment includes a matte material surface and is configured for use as an impression transfer and as a scan body in a dental implant operation.
MANDIBULAR OPENING AND ADVANCEMENT MEASUREMENT AND POSITIONING DEVICE
Mandibular advancement measurement and positioning device provided with an instrument (1) with an upper slider (2) and a lower slider (3), means to measure and position the relative displacement of both sliders and two trays at one end of the instrument, one upper and one lower (11a, 11b), the trays being attached to each slider respectively, wherein the lower slider is divided into a fixed part (3a) and a pivoting part (3b) joined to the end of the fixed part (3a), being the upper and lower slider joined by means of a recess that allows a relative slide of both and wherein the pivoting part (3b) of the lower slider is provided with a vertical opening control (6). By means of the pivoting part and the opening control it is possible to measure and position the vertical opening.
Methods for generating composite images of a patient
Methods and systems for generating composite images of a patient and models of the patient's dentition are provided. In some embodiments, a method includes generating a plurality of 3D models, each comprising a virtual representation of the patient's dentition at different treatment stages of a treatment plan and obtaining an image of the patient's face and dentition. The method can include projecting the obtained image into a 3D space to create a projected 3D model of the patient's face and dentition. The method can also include generating a plurality of modified images, each representing the patient in a treatment stage of the treatment plan and formed by combining the patient's dentition of one of the 3D models with the patient's face of the projected 3D model. A modified image corresponding to a selected treatment stage and a corresponding 3D model can be provided for display.
SHAPE OPTIMIZED PREPARATION AND RESTORATION DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR DENTAL AND OTHER APPLICATIONS
A dental preparation block guide comprises a chamber that is customized to receive at least one tooth of a patient for a shape-optimized restoration of the at least one tooth; and a channel formed in a surface of the block guide at a location selected relative to the shape-optimized restoration to be performed, the channel comprising an aperture extending through the surface to the chamber such that a dental handpiece can be inserted into and guided within the channel while a tool of the dental handpiece can interact with the at least one tooth in the chamber through the aperture to form a shape-optimized preparation in the at least one tooth to receive the shape-optimized restoration. Related methods and system, as well as other devices, also are disclosed.
DENTAL STENT
A dental stent according to an embodiment includes handles and clamps which are decouplably coupled to main stent bodies depending on a purpose of use, the handles and the clamps enabling dental treatment and surgery to be performed safely and accurately. The dental stent is configured to include main stent bodies that are located in a maxillary or mandibular arch except for a treatment-target and surgical site in the same maxillary and mandibular arch and have respective square connection notches which enable respective handles or clamps to be decouplably coupled to the main stent bodies selectively depending on a purpose; an elastic clip that is coupled to upper ends of the main stent bodies and imparts elasticity to the main stent bodies; and light curing resins that are formed on respective inner walls of the main stent bodies and take a dental impression.
INDIRECT BONDING TRAY FOR ORTHODONTIC APPLIANCE
The techniques described herein relate to exemplary indirect bonding trays for orthodontic appliances. An example indirect bonding tray comprises an occlusal base having an outer perimeter and defining a first impression conforming to a first occlusal tooth surface and a second impression conforming to at least a portion of a second occlusal tooth surface. The example indirect bonding tray further comprises a buccal wall defining a well to releasably engage an orthodontic appliance, the buccal wall extending outwards beyond the outer perimeter of the occlusal base, wherein: the buccal wall and the well are in a first region of the indirect bonding tray associated with the first impression, the first region is adjacent to a second region of the indirect bonding tray associated with the second impression, and an outer wall of the second region extends to the outer perimeter of the occlusal base.
