Method and system for managing multiple impressions of a patient's jaw for an orthodontic treatment are provided. The method includes scanning at least a first impression and a second impression of the same jaw for the orthodontic treatment; determining if the first jaw impression and the second jaw impression have distortion in different areas; selecting the first jaw impression or the second jaw impression as a base impression; and replacing distorted tooth data from the base impression with data for the same tooth from a non-base impression. The method also includes scanning at least a first jaw impression for the orthodontic treatment; scanning a bite impression for the orthodontic treatment; matching the scanned first jaw impression with the scanned bite impression; comparing bite information with a tooth occlusal surface; and determining if reconstruction is to be performed on the tooth occlusal surface.

Dental Impression Tray
20210153984 · 2021-05-27 · ·

A dental impression tray includes; a U shaped base, which includes a U shaped planar impression table, an outer wall and an inner wall, wherein the impression table extends between the inner wall along an inner periphery and the outer wall along an outer periphery, wherein the inner and outer walls extend upwardly from the base. The impression table together with the inner and outer walls thereby define a U shaped bite channel configured for receiving therein impression material and a set of teeth, thereby operably taking impressions of the teeth. The impression table includes numerous planar knock-out panels arranged in side by side fashion along the center line, the knock-out panels are configured to be selectively removed from the impression table thereby selectively providing an opening through the impression table. Each knock out panel is separated from the adjacent knock out panel by a panel gap at an open side wherein the gap extends transversely to the center line and between the inner and outer wall.

Light curing dental system

A light curing dental system comprising a light emitting tray that precisely distributes an optimal amount of curing light energy to internal, external and extra oral portions of the dental arch to cure a dental material. The light curing dental system generally includes a light source, a light emitting dental tray, an activation module and a photocurable dental material.

DENTAL IMPRESSION MATERIAL

A photocurable dental impression material comprising: (a) a mixture of polymerizable silicone compounds each having two or more polymerizable (meth)acrylate groups, said mixture having a dynamic viscosity at 25° C. of from 1 to 100 Pas; (b) a filler; (c) a photo initiator system,
wherein the mixture of polymerizable silicone compounds comprises based on the total weight of the mixture of polymerizable silicone compounds (a) 10 to 90 percent by weight of high-molecular polymerizable silicone compounds having a molecular weight in the range of from more than 4000 up to 10.000; and (b) 90 to 10 percent by weight of polymerizable silicone compounds having a molecular weight in the range of from 300 to 4000.

ORTHOGNATHIC SYSTEM USING THREE-DIMENSIONAL HYBRID IMAGE BUILDING PROGRAM
20210137599 · 2021-05-13 ·

An orthognathic system using a 3-dimensional hybrid image constructing program according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a dental clinic server configured to prepare preliminary data for orthognathic surgery based on CT image data acquired by a CT imaging apparatus, transmit the preliminary data to an orthognathic device manufacturer server, perform virtual orthognathic surgery by inputting osteotomy data received from the orthognathic device manufacturer server into the 3-dimensional hybrid image constructing program, and transmit the result of the virtual orthognathic surgery to the orthognathic device manufacturer server; and an orthognathic device manufacturer server configured to merge CT data with gingival data, extract this to generate a jaw-bone 3-dimensional image file, cut the jaw bones within the program by using the generated jaw-bone 3-dimensional image file, and transmit the data to the dental clinic server.

Tooth cleaning device
10980622 · 2021-04-20 · ·

A tooth cleaning device for the specific cleaning of crevices between teeth and gingival pockets having a curved carrier body in the shape of a jaw and a resilient, curable dental impression material, which is applied on both sides of the carrier body. The impression material is applied at a low height such that, during use, only the occlusal surfaces of teeth submerge into the dental impression material, while the crevices between teeth are largely free from the dental impression material. The carrier body has at least one, preferably a plurality of centering projections, which ensure that the tooth cleaning device is inserted in a centric position of the jaw. The device forms a barrier between the actual oral cavity (cavum oris proprium) and the oral vestibule, that is, the space between the lips/cheeks and row of teeth (vestibulum oris). In view of this barrier, the crevices between teeth present the only passage through which a cleaning fluid can be pressed by moving the tongue and/or cheek muscle.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR PRODUCING IMPLANT PLACING GUIDE
20210113310 · 2021-04-22 ·

According to the invention, there are provided a system, a method and a computer program for producing an implant placing guide. According to the invention, the system for producing an implant placing guide, includes: a dental-clinic terminal that transmits, to a managing server, a three-dimensional intraoral image acquired by a CT scan in a state where a guide tray filled with an impression material is inserted into an oral cavity of a patient and that receives an implant-placing-guide processing file from the managing server; a managing server that transmits a plan request signal to one or more preregistered planner terminals when receiving the three-dimensional image from the dental-clinic terminal and that generates an implant-placing-guide processing file by using implant planning information when receiving the implant planning information from a planner terminal that accepts the plan request signal; and a planner terminal that transmits, to the managing server, a signal of whether or not the plan request signal is accepted when the plan request signal is received from the managing server and that receives and transmits implant planning information corresponding to the three-dimensional image to the managing server when receiving the three-dimensional image from the managing server. The guide tray has one or more markers which are used for matching an image of the guide tray and the three-dimensional image and has an impression of a teeth shape of the patient. The implant planning information includes positional information of a guide hole which is formed at the guide tray. According to the invention, a time for producing an implant placing guide is significantly shortened, and thus convenience of a patient remarkably improves.
