Endodontic therapy system, apparatus and method making use of a disposable CT registration tray device with pre-set radiographic registration markers
A system for endodontic therapy includes a radio-opaque tray having three or more fiduciary markers embedded in the tray, a leveling device, and one or more bite stops arranged to ensure maintenance of adequate bite registration or impression material between opposing teeth to allow 3D reconstruction of occlusal surfaces.
Disposable mouth articulation system
System, components and method for creating a set of dentures using the patient's mouth as an intra-oral articulator by use of an upper and/or lower disposable dental impression tray for creating the impression of the edentulous or partial edentulous mouth, the trays having a horizontal support bar and an upwardly extending short wall, with ridges, for mechanically accepting waxed backs of artificial teeth thereto. A screw with partial palatal tray can be secured through an aperture of the horizontal support bar and locked in place.
Dynamically generated dental articulator controls
This invention relates to improved methods and apparatus for recording and simulating the condylar movement of an individual. This invention also provides a dental articulator which is designed to simulate the jaw or condylar movements of a patient. This instrument enables a dentist to obtain the necessary diagnostic information for treatment of the occlusal irregularities, such as malocclusion, and the fabrication of dental cast or “dentures”.
ADJUSTABLE DENTAL IMPRESSION TRAY WITH ADAPTIVE LOCK
An improved dental impression tray system provides a way to accommodate multiple arch sizes. The tray is adjustable and has an anterior section with two distal ends and and a posterior section with two distal ends. The two sections are connected together at their distal ends. A mesh membrane extends between the sections to maintain the impression material. The ends of the posterior section include a plurality of vertical pins and a vertical opening is located adjacent each distal end of said anterior section. To adjust the size of the tray, the distal ends of the anterior section can be disconnected from said distal ends of the posterior section and then reconnected by inserting the pins into the opening. Further size adjustments can be made by removing additional pins and inserting the next remaining pins into the openings.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERSONALIZED ORAL CARE
Described herein are systems and methods for providing personalized oral care. A system for oral care comprises an oral insert. The oral insert is sized and shaped according to a user's oral cavity, and has a plurality of fluid nozzles and an effluence conduit to channel fluid out of the user's oral cavity. Pressurized fluid provided through the nozzles are directed to, for example, the interproximal spaces between the user's teeth. In some variations, a system comprises an oral insert and an elastomeric substrate that is attached to the oral insert. In some variations, the elastomeric substrate comprises a textured surface vibrates and/or mechanically agitates and/or translates along the surface of the user's teeth. In some variations, a system for oral care comprises a microbiome collection chamber. Some variations comprise dental shim devices that are used for acquiring oral structure data and alignment between the upper and lower arches.
System and process for duplication of dentures
Systems and processes for the duplication of dentures from existing dentures. The interior and exterior of the dentures are scanned and a best fit procedure is used to create a fully digitized denture. The denture teeth are selected from a library that is the closest fit to the original denture teeth. The library teeth are offset a preset distance to compensate for the best fit. The teeth are then subtracted from the digitized denture. The margins of the denture are then cleaned after subtracting the teeth. The denture base is then ready for manufacturing. The teeth are then installed onto the denture base and provided to the patient.
Elastically Deformable Bite Fork Stabilizer and Associated Methods
Methods and apparatus for stabilizing a bite fork in a patient's mouth. The apparatus may comprise an elastically deformable bite fork stabilizer. The elastically deformable bite fork stabilizer may comprise an elastically deformable layer, an adhesive layer on one side of the elastically deformable layer, and a removable layer adhered to the adhesive layer.
BITE REGISTRATION TOOL, BITE REGISTRATION TOOL SET, AND SUITABLE BITE REGISTRATION METHOD
A bite registration tool includes tooth casts (UZF and OZF) that are placed on top of one another in the occlusal position, and a bite registration tool set includes at least one bite registration tool for the upper and lower jaws (OKB and UKB) and a molding material. A bite registration method, especially for a full prosthesis, uses the bite registration tool and tool set.
Dental impression retake kit and methods therefor
A method of administering a dental impression kit includes receiving, from a user, a first set of dental impressions of an upper dental arch and a lower dental arch of the user and identifying, based on the first set of dental impressions, one or more defects in at least one dental impression of the first set of dental impressions. The method includes sending a dental impression kit to the user and receiving a second set of dental impressions, the second set of dental impressions replacing the at least one dental impression having the one or more defects. The method includes manufacturing dental aligners specific to the user and being configured to reposition one or more teeth of the user.
Apparatus and system for making dental impressions
A system for making dental impressions is provided. The system includes a first dental tray and an adjustable dental tray mount for maintaining the first dental tray in a fixed position relative to an upper dental arch of a patient. The adjustable dental tray mount is capable of being mounted on the patient's head, neck or shoulders. The system further includes a flexible tooth separator with a tape-like structure and with a width equal to or greater than a distance from a tooth margin line to a gum line of a tooth of a patient. The system further includes a second dental tray, an adjustable dental tray mount for maintaining the second dental tray in a fixed position relative to a lower dental arch of a patient, and spacing structures to maintain the first dental tray and the second dental tray in position when simultaneously applied to the patient's teeth.
