20230183024 · 2023-06-15 · ·

Systems and methods are provided for conveyor operation and maintenance that employ one or both of a “smart shoe” technology where one or more conveyor shoes incorporate features, such as an RFID tag, and a “missing pin detection” technology where one or more pin components of conveyor shoes incorporate features, such as an RFID tag, allowing selective wireless tracking and identification capability. A conveyor system comprises a shoe management system allowing interactions directly with one or more RFID readers, which can detect, store and/or monitor information associated with “smart shoe” and/or “missing pin detection” RFID tags, where interface between this application and the reader can be implemented via a socket interface. System and method also or optionally provide for unique slat installation and removal.

CONTAINER-HANDLING APPARATUS
20230183051 · 2023-06-15 ·

A container-handling apparatus, in particular a filling machine for filling cans or similar containers with liquid contents, has a first transporter for a container infeed, a downstream rotor with a plurality of handling positions for handling the containers, and a second transporter downstream of the rotor and forming a container outfeed. The second transporter is a chain conveyor with at least one guide finger having first and second guide portion, which receives the as yet unsealed containers and guides them by the first guide portion initially along a first, at least partially curved transport path portion, continuously in contact with a guide rail, before the second guide portion of the guide finger then conveys the container on a straight, second transport path portion along the container treatment path.

Accumulator device for dynamically accumulating conveyed products, as well as a method for using such a device
20170341877 · 2017-11-30 · ·

The invention relates to an accumulator device comprising an infeed conveyor with an endless conveying belt arranged for moving products in a first conveying direction, a substantially parallel outfeed conveyor with an endless conveying belt arranged for moving products in a second, opposing conveying direction, a transfer device provided in-between the infeed and outfeed conveyors, configured for transferring products from the infeed conveyor to the outfeed conveyor, the transfer device being moveable along the infeed and outfeed conveyors, wherein the transfer device comprises a first transfer element with first gripping means for horizontally engaging the products, a second transfer element, spaced-apart from the first transfer element, provided with second gripping means for horizontally engaging the products in cooperation with the first gripping means, wherein between the first and second circumference a transfer trajectory is defined, along which a distance between the first and second circumference, perpendicular to the transfer trajectory, is substantially constant and along which the first and second gripping means are arranged to be driven in a same transfer direction, such that a product can be gripped by the first and second gripping means at a gripping location on the infeed conveyor and transported along the transfer trajectory to a release location on the outfeed conveyor.

CHAIN AND SLAT CONVEYOR AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
20170339830 · 2017-11-30 ·

A chain and slat conveyor with first and second continuous chains and a plurality of slats. Each slat is connected to the first chain by a keyhole connection and to the second chain by a bolt or rivet which passes through a hole in the slat.

Two-axis modular belt and conveyor
11505409 · 2022-11-22 · ·

A two-axis modular belt comprising two orthogonal belt loops intersecting at a union on a carryway. The belt is constructed of rectangular belt modules arranged in rows and columns. The modules are interconnected by hinge elements that allow columns of an advancing belt loop to translate relative to the rows of the other stationary belt loop.

Transport system for the movement of passengers

A set of pallets for transportation systems for transporting passengers and/or goods may include a pulling pallet that pulls a pulled pallet. The pulled and pulling pallets may articulate relative to one another about an axis substantially perpendicular to a direction of displacement of a continuous belt formed by such sets of pallets. The set of pallets may have a support surface for supporting passengers and/or goods, as well as a functional surface opposite the support surface. The functional surface may include a balance having a first end articulated to the functional surface according to an axis substantially perpendicular to the direction of displacement and a second end opposite the first end that has a one or more coupling devices that form a coupling joint between one or more devices that pull the pulling pallet along a trajectory followed by the continuous belt.

Transporting device, processing arrangement and coating method

In various embodiments, a transporting device for transporting a substrate in a process chamber is provided. The transporting device includes a guiding rail arrangement having two guiding rails for mounting a multiplicity of bars between the two guiding rails. The two guiding rails form a closed path of movement along which the multiplicity of bars are guided. The transporting device further includes the multiplicity of bars that are mounted in the guiding rail arrangement, and a drive device for pushing at least one bar of the multiplicity of bars in such a way that, in a transporting region of the guiding rail arrangement, in each case multiple bars of the multiplicity of bars are pushed against one another and the bars that have been pushed against one another move along the path of movement in the transporting region.

Assembly set for a slat-band conveyor

Disclosed is an assembly set for a slat-band conveyor including lateral rims which are formed by two lateral parts, the lateral rims being hinged together, and including plates which are connected to the lateral rims. The lateral parts have substantially the same geometry.

Conveyor belt system with integrated sensor and method of using same

A conveyor belt system includes a conveyor belt and a sensor assembly integrated in the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt includes a plurality of wickets, and a plurality of interconnecting rods about which the wickets hinge. The sensor assembly includes a load-bearing member and a sensor fitted in the load-bearing member. The load-bearing member is coupled to two adjacent rods such that a belt tension is sustained between the adjacent rods. A method of using a conveyor belt system include pinging the sensor assembly using a reader with an antenna positioned on a conveyor frame, collecting a signal from the sensor assembly using the reader, and processing the collected data to determine a history of belt tension and to estimate overall belt elongation.

Conveyor belt with rows of alternating types of bars

A conveyor belt comprised of a plurality of two types of elongated bars, arranged in parallel, spaced relation. The first type of bar includes a plurality of transverse elements, extending perpendicularly from either side of the bar. The second type of bar is preferably cylindrical. The two types of bars are arranged in alternating fashion along the belt, with the ends of the elements from the first type of bar in predetermined spaced relation from the side of an adjacent second type of bar. The relative heights of the two types of bars may be varied, to define article conveying pockets of different sizes and depths. Rollers are provided within of the arcuate ends of belts driving and supporting the bars. The belt may be endless, or assembled from one or more belt segments. Two or more belts may be combined laterally, to increase the width of the conveyor belt.
