ORIGINAL CLONE CUTTER
The present invention is a single blade clone cutter. The single blade clone cutter comprises a u-shaped housing with a single removable blade. The blade is locked into the u-shaped housing to secure the blade from moving during the process of cutting. It is important to have a single blade that cuts onto a flat surface so there is no damage being done to the fibers at the end of a cutting.
Method for propagation of woody plants from leaf cuttings
The presently claimed invention is related to a method for vegetative propagation of woody plants selected from the group consisting of Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus sp.), Salix sp., olive tree (Olea europaea), rootstock Atlas (Prunus persica x Prunus dulcis x Prunus blireiana), blueberries (Vaccinum corymbosurn), Vitis vinifera, Aristotelia chilensis, Quillaja saponaria and Quercus ilex, from prepared leaf cuttings, wherein the method comprises the steps of: a) providing cuts of leaf cuttings from a donor tree, b) immersing the prepared leaf cutting into a combination of growth regulators, c) planting the prepared leaf cutting into a solid substrate of organic and/or inorganic origin, d) inducing sprouting and rooting of the prepared leaf cutting, by means of controlled ambient temperature, humidity and illumination, wherein steps a) through d) always occur outside an in vitro environment; and embodiments thereof.

CONTAINER, SUCH AS A TRAY OR STRIP, WITH CUTTING EDGES
A container, such as a pot, strip or tray, comprising at least one accommodation for at least one specimen from a group, comprising: plants; seeds; seedlings; cuttings and the like, where the accommodation is configured to be filled with a substrate and the container exhibits at least a side wall, a bottom and a top surface to accommodate the substrate and the specimen in the substrate, of which at least a portion of the top surface is open to enable growth of the specimen there through in a longitudinal direction. The side wall includes a completely open passage which is dimensioned for inserting or extracting a block of substrate with essentially a full size of an interior of the accommodation into or from the interior through the passage in a sideways direction relative to the longitudinal direction, where at least the side wall includes a cutting edge alongside the passage.

NUTRIENT MEDIUM FOR AUTOMATED CULTIVATION OF PLANTS
A nutrient medium for the cultivation of plants, containing (a) 3 g/l to 18 g/l agar and (b) 0.5 g/l to 3 g/l carrageenan, as well as plant plugs which contain such a nutrient medium, a method for the production of the plant plugs, and a method for the automated or semi-automated cultivation of plants using the plant plugs.
METHODS OF PRODUCING SUGAR CANE TRANSPLANT UNITS
Methods of producing sugar cane transplant units that includes planting a sugar cane propagation material in a planting container that has a volume of 10 to 200 cubic centimeters; growing the sugar plant to an age of at least 4 months; harvesting the stalks of the sugar cane plant when the stalks have a length of 10 to 50 centimeters; cutting the harvested stalks into stalk segments, wherein the stalk segments are cut to a length of 1 to 5 centimeters; and planting one or more of the stalk segments into a planting container that has a volume from 10 to 200 cubic centimeters.
PLANT HOLDER, SYSTEM THEREFOR AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING THEREOF
A plant holder includes at least one cell which defines a plant position and which is configured to receive plant material during use. A clamp includes a clamping position in which plant material is to be clamped in the cell and an open position in which plant material is to be arranged in and/or removed from the clamp. The clamp is provided with at least one actuator which is configured to be engaged externally in order to open the clamp. A system includes such a plant holder. A method of processing a plant holder including a clamp, includes the steps of: opening the clamp; arranging plant material in the clamp and/or removing it therefrom; and closing the clamp.

MODULAR GROW CHAMBER CONSTRUCTIONS AND RELATED GROWING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Growing systems may include a number of modular growing chambers with integrated support columns that eliminate the need for an external support frame and which provide a simple way to remove chambers from a stack for harvesting. The chambers can be assembled around a growing plant. Pins provided on the support columns ensure alignment and provide for easy removal of a lower chamber by first supporting the stack and slightly lowering it relative to the stack. The chamber structure supports harvesting processes that permit harvesting of a chamber simply by shifting it relative to the stack and supporting the other chambers in a vertical position andshifting the chambers. A portable shifting device may provide automated support, shifting and removal of one or more chambers for harvesting.
