CONVEYOR AND CONVEYANCE METHOD
Provided is a conveyor such that, after stopping or restricting supply of granular material to a downstream device, it is possible to restart normal operation of conveying the granular material without delay. This conveyor includes: a casing having a conveying path of a granular material therein and having a discharge port for discharging the granular material to a downstream device; a plurality of conveying units accommodated in the casing and configured to convey the granular material to the discharge port by circulating along the conveying path; an opening/closing mechanism that opens and closes the discharge port; and a control unit that controls operation of the plurality of conveying units and the opening/closing mechanism. When restricting supply of the granular material to the downstream device, the control unit controls the opening/closing mechanism to close the discharge port, and continues to circulate the plurality of conveying units, thereby continuing to move the granular material along the conveying path.

Drive unit for a grain elevator and grain elevator arrangement
A drive unit for a grain elevator, in particular for agricultural machines, has a drive wheel operatively connected to a screw conveyor for conveying crop into the grain elevator. The drive wheel is provided with a retainer which may be engaged in a positive locking and/or friction-type connection with a continuous tension device of the grain elevator provided with one or more paddles so as to drive the continuous tension device. Several openings are provided in the drive wheel between the arms holding the retainer in such a way that this allows or facilitates crop conveyed by the screw conveyor into the grain elevator along a direction of conveyance to flow through the drive wheel.

Linked disc assembly
A linked disc assembly for use in continuous chain tensioning assemblies in tubular chain drag conveyors, comprising link members and alternating double ear disc members. Each disc member comprises a disc plate and an ear member transversely projecting therefrom. Each ear member consists of an arcuate leg defining a channel extending parallel to the disc plate and hingedly engaged by a link member. Each open chain link member defines a spacing gap. Each ear member arcuate leg defines a transverse notch adjacent a corresponding disc plate, the notch sized and shaped complementarily to the link member gap so as to form a sliding ramp for manual guided quick release through passage of a link member.
DRIVER OF A FEED CHAIN AND FEED CHAIN
A driver for use on a feed chain having elongate oval chain links that have two chain link legs. The driver is wider than the width of the chain link, so as to project beyond both sides of the chain link. The driver has a snap connector that allows the driver to be snapped onto the two chain link legs. A locking bar may be used with the driver to prevent the chain link legs from inadvertently releasing from the snap connector.

Drive unit for a grain elevator and grain elevator arrangement
A drive unit for a grain elevator, in particular for agricultural machines, has a drive wheel operatively connected to a screw conveyor for conveying crop into the grain elevator. The drive wheel is provided with retainer means which may be engaged in a positive locking and/or friction-type connection with a continuous tension means of the grain elevator provided with one or more paddles so as to drive the continuous tension means. Several openings are provided in the drive wheel between the arms holding the retainer means in such a way that this allows or facilitates crop conveyed by the screw conveyor into the grain elevator along a direction of conveyance to flow through the drive wheel.
Cable connector for tubular conveyor systems
A conveyor system of a type having a flexible circuitous cable with discs attached thereto for conveying material through a circuitous tube, the system including a cable connector for attaching the ends of the cable together, the connector being designed to reduce cable flexing at the cable connector when the cable is going around a turn, for the purpose of increasing the life of the cable.
