The present invention provides a telescopic conveyor (1) having at least two conveyor belts (10). Said belts are arranged one above the other and can be moved relative to one another in the longitudinal direction. Each conveyor belt (10) here has a frame (11), a circulatory belt (12) and a first deflecting roller (13) at a first end (A), and a second deflecting roller (14) at a second end (B), of the conveyor belt (10), wherein the second end (B) is a transfer end of the conveyor belt (10), and wherein a bridging device (2, 2) is provided between in each case two adjacent conveyor belts (10) located one above the other, and said device bridges, at least to some extent, the difference in height (H) between the two conveyor belts (10) arranged one above the other, it being necessary for said difference in height to be overcome at the transfer end. The bridging device (2) comprises a ramp (3, 3) with a slope (S) and also a first deflecting roller (4), which is arranged at the higher end of the ramp (3, 3), as well as a first holding-down device (5), which is arranged beneath the first deflecting roller (4), and also a second holding-down device (7) at the foot of the ramp (3, 3). The circulatory belt (12) of the respectively lower conveyor belt (10) is guided, from a conveying plane (E1) beneath the second holding-down device (7), over the ramp (3, 3) with the slope (S) and, from there, is deflected over the first deflecting roller (4) and guided back to the conveying plane (E1) beneath the first holding-down device (5). The slope (S) of the ramp (3, 3) continues in stepless fashion tangentially along the circulatory belt (12) of the conveyor belt (10) located above, said circulatory belt being guided over its second end-side deflecting roller (14).

Positive drive conveyor

The invention relates to a positive drive spiral conveyor which includes, a drive tower rotatable about a vertical axis and a plurality of drive members extending in length from a bottom to a top of the drive tower. The drive members are spaced radially around the drive tower, with each drive member having a projecting driving ridge extending in length along at least a section of each drive member with a projecting shaft positioned on each drive member proximate an end of the driving ridge thereby defining an engagement zone. The projecting shaft defines a guiding surface around the shaft, such that in use a positive drive protrusion of a conveyor belt engages the guiding surface of the projecting shaft and is guided towards a leading side of the driving ridge.

CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATED SINGULATION SYSTEM

A control system for an automated singulation system is provided. The control system detects a presence of a first item on a first conveyor and detects a presence of a second item on a second conveyor while the first item is present on the first conveyor. The second conveyor transfers items onto the first conveyor and is at a lower height than the second conveyor. The first conveyor is oriented perpendicularly with respect to the second conveyor. In response to detecting the presence of the second item, a location of the first item along a length of the first conveyor is determined. The first conveyor and the second conveyor are controlled based at least on the location of the first item.

Conveyor apparatus, systems and methods are provided. Some embodiments include pivot assemblies for folding a conveyor frame between transport and operational configurations. In some embodiments, one or more frame sections of the conveyor frame are sized to be received in a shipping container.

Toolless removable wear strip and/or guide rail for a conveyor

A wear strip for a conveyor having a frame with frame spacers is provided. There are two frame spacers at one end of the frame, each having at least one lock. The lock has a riser and a head, wherein the head is wider than the riser forming a generally but not limited to T-shaped profile. A wear strip having a hole with an upper cavity and a lower passage having a wide gap and narrow gap is provided. The wear strip can be secured by the lock. This is accomplished by mounting the wear strip on the frame spacers so that the head of the lock projects into the upper cavity of the wear strip. Then, the wear strip is longitudinally moved so that the riser enters the narrow gap in the wear strip. Longitudinal wear strips can be inserted that longitudinally lock the wear strips in place.
