AXLE OR SHAFT
20240286845 · 2024-08-29 · ·

An axle or shaft is of multi-part construction. Several part axles or part shafts may be arranged adjacent to one another and may be formed to be rod-shaped, part-circular, segmental, triangular or polygonal. The part axles or part shafts together may form the axle or shaft and may be arranged at a spacing from one another.

Braking device

A braking device for braking a belt of a downward belt conveyor adopting a head drive is provided. The belt includes first and second belt surfaces opposite to each other. The braking device includes a first clamping plate arranged at a side of the first belt surface, and a second clamping plate arranged at a side of the second belt surface. The first and second clamping plates are configured to move toward each other to allow the second clamping plate and the first clamping plate respectively abut against the second belt surface and the first belt surface, so as to clamp the belt to achieve the braking. The first and second clamping plates are configured to move away from each other to release the belt.

A media conveyor mechanism for a printing apparatus includes an endless conveyor belt (BT) conveying a medium (M) in a Y direction; a belt driving unit having a first roller and a second roller which are arranged at an interval in the Y direction and parallel to an X direction, on which the conveyor belt (BT) is wrapped, and at least one of which drives the conveyor belt (BT), the first roller being fixed at a predetermined position in the Y direction, and second roller being switchable between a movable state and a fixed state; and an applying unit which applies constant equal force to both ends of the second roller in the X direction in a Y direction.

Belt Conveyor with Wedge Elements for Changing Curvature at Deflection Wheels
20170183163 · 2017-06-29 ·

A device for transporting objects: including at least two rotatably mounted wheels for driving and deflecting a conveyor belt, a closed conveyor belt and several cells for receiving the objects to be transported. The cells are connected to the conveyor belt such that their cell centers define a closed transport path. The conveyor belt is guided around the wheels in such a way that the transport path has an approximately circular section in the region of the wheels and an approximately straight section between the wheels. The device further includes an element for changing the curvature of the transport path in between at least one straight path section and at least one circular path section.
