Transfer device for a workpiece

The present invention relates to a transfer device (1) for a workpiece (11), said transfer device including a frame (2) as well as a first pivot arm (3). The first pivot arm (3) is connected to the frame (2) so as to be pivotable by means of a first rotational axis (6). Furthermore, a first slide (9) is mounted so as to be linearly displaceable on the first pivot arm (3). The transfer device (1) further includes a holding device (10) for a workpiece (11) which is connected to the first slide (9) so as to be rotatable relative to the pivot arm (3) by means of a third rotational axis (12). The first pivot arm (3) is connected to the frame (2) so as to be rotatable in a second region by means of a second rotational axis (13) which is mounted on the frame (2) so as to be displaceable substantially in the horizontal direction.

Sleeve-folding assistance device for assisting back-revealing sleeve-folding device, and folding device

A sleeve-folding assistance device for assisting a back-revealing sleeve-folding device is provided. The sleeve-folding assistance device includes a pair of right and left sleeve guide portions which disposes a body portion of a garment having the body portion and both sleeve portions on a loading conveyor to transport the garment from a front to a rear, and moves to approach both sides of the loading conveyor so as to guide both sleeve portions of the garment hung down on both sides of the loading conveyor to a sleeve-folding device for performing back-revealing sleeve-folding, in which when the pair of right and left sleeve guide portions approaches both sides of the loading conveyor and transports the body portion from the front to the rear on the loading conveyor, the pair of right and left sleeve guide portions lifts both sleeve portions of the garment, respectively.

In an illustrative embodiment, a system for identifying products on a production line includes image capturing devices that acquire images of containers moving along a production line at an inspection location. The system also includes a rejection device and a controller that configures the image capturing devices for image acquisition based on properties of the containers, identifies a product associated with each of the containers based on a portion of a product identification code and a portion of additional features detected in the images, and determines whether the identified product matches predetermined properties or characteristics, resulting in a pass result, otherwise a non-pass result occurs. When a non-pass result occurs, the controller outputs a signal to actuate the rejection device that removes the container from the production line.

CONVEYOR SYSTEM FOR AUTONOMOUS ROBOT

An autonomous robot with a modular conveyor belt moves materials in a warehouse or other industrial environment. Its load cells detect items on its conveyor belt and its cameras detect loading stations with stationary conveyor belts throughout the warehouse. It guides itself to a loading station using visual cues until it is close enough to load or unload items from its conveyor belt. The cart orients itself relative to the stationary conveyor belt based on the conveyor belt's direction of motion and tracks its position using wheel or visual odometry. It unloads by running the conveyor belt, which may be about 1.5 m long, at a speed of about 1 m/s for about 2 seconds. For loading, the cart detects an item on a stationary conveyor belt using a camera, positions itself next to the stationary conveyor belt, then triggers the stationary conveyor belt and its own conveyor belt to load the item.

Separating system, and associated packaging installation

Separating system for separating a support and a product arranged on the support. According to one embodiment the system includes conveying means adapted for receiving the product arranged on its support and for conveying the products in a first conveyance direction. The conveying means includes two product support elements separated from one another in at least one point by a width less than a width of the product (the width of the product being transverse to the first conveyance direction) and greater than the width of its support (with the width of the support being transverse to the first conveyance direction), such that the product is supported by, and conveyed on, the product support elements of the conveying means, and the support is separated from the product upon the product being supported on the product support elements.

Apparatus and method of conveying and ejecting separated food portions

An ejector device is provided for food portions, and in particular for sausages. A food portion in a conveying area between two conveyor belts is engaged in a conveying mode and can be conveyed in the conveying direction. It is proposed that the ejector device has at least one adjustment mechanism for ejecting a food portion in an ejection area, which is so designed that the distance of the conveyor belts from each other in the conveying area can be partially varied. A method of ejecting food portions is also provided, in which it is proposed that the food portions be taken out of engagement with the conveyor belts as described above.

A swing conveyor that is segmented. In one embodiment, the swing conveyor comprises an incline section that pivotally connects to an intake of a main conveyor, and includes a first belt. The swing conveyor further comprises an intake section that receives a flow of material via a second belt, and transfers the flow of material to the incline section. The first belt of the incline section transfers the flow of material received from the intake section to the intake of the main conveyor. The intake section connects to the incline section via a hinge mechanism so that the intake section pivots in relation to the incline section.
