Suction method
A suction method is provided as a method of performing, by using a suction collet, suction of a Fabry-Perot interference filter including: a substrate; a laminated structure that is provided on the substrate and that includes a main surface facing a side opposite to the substrate; and a thinned portion that is located outside the laminated structure when viewed in a direction intersecting the main surface and that is recessed to a side of the substrate with respect to the main surface, the method including: a first step of arranging the suction collet so as to face the main surface; a second step of bringing the suction collet into contact with the Fabry-Perot interference filter after the first step; and a third step of suctioning the Fabry-Perot interference filter by using the suction collet after the second step.

A glass product transport apparatus is provided. The glass product transport apparatus includes a slotted element assembly configured to engage a narrowed portion of a glass product. A carriage assembly has a longitudinal slot configured to receive the slotted element assembly for longitudinal movement. An actuator is connected to the slotted element assembly and configured to move the slotted element assembly in a longitudinal direction. A rail structure is configured to support the carriage assembly. The slotted element assembly is configured to retain the glass product in the event power is removed from the actuator.

A glass product transport apparatus is provided. The glass product transport apparatus includes a slotted element assembly configured to engage a narrowed portion of a glass product. In embodiments, a conveyor apparatus can include a conveyor ribbon having a length, a width, a thickness less than the width, and a plurality of receiving apertures located along the length and extending through the thickness of the conveyor ribbon. The plurality of receiving apertures are dimensioned to receive and hold a plurality of glass articles. A conveyor drive and guidance system directs the conveyor ribbon along a predefined conveyor path. The predefined conveyor path can include an immersion section and a drain section. The immersion section can be oriented to direct the conveyor ribbon into and out of an immersion station and the conveyor ribbon is rotated about a horizontal axis in the drain section after being directed out of the immersion station.
