EMPTYING DEVICE FOR EMPTYING A CONTAINER
The application relates to an emptying device for emptying a container containing a product, including: a docking portion for docking to a rigid container to be emptied, in particular a drum, wherein in the docking portion a passage is formed by an adjustable sealing device, wherein the passage can be adjusted via the sealing device in such a way that an adapter piece being fixed to a flexible container enclosing the product, in particular a liner or a film bag, inside the rigid container, can be fastened within the passage in such a way that an enclosed inner space defined by the docking portion and the rigid container is sealed off from an external environment.
High containment discharge station
A discharging apparatus for discharging loose and in particular pulverulent material that is hazardous to health from rigid or flexible containers (12), in particular bags and barrels (13), comprising a discharge chamber (2) which has a discharge opening (5) for discharging the material after removal from a container (12) and which additionally has an insertion opening (3) for at least partial insertion of a container (12) into the discharge chamber (2). According to the invention, the discharge chamber (2) has a ventilation opening (4) which is arranged at a side of the discharge chamber (2) opposite the insertion opening (3) and which is connected to pump means (10) in such a way that an air stream can be generated inside the discharge chamber (2), which causes a laminar air flow starting from the insertion opening (3) and leading in the direction of the ventilation opening (4).
Mechanism with simplified handling for controlling a device for sealingly connecting two enclosed spaces
Mechanism for controlling a device for sealingly connecting an enclosure and a container, with the enclosure comprising a door (10) and the container comprising a door (14), with the door (10) of the enclosure containing the control mechanism (D), with that comprising a male element (34) cooperating with a recess of the door (14) of the container, with this male element (34) being rotatably movable about and translatably movable along a longitudinal axis (X) and is capable of being accommodated in the recess of the door (14), of locking the two doors (10, 14) together and of unlocking the door (14) of the container.
Bulk material receiving, conveying, storing, and dispensing
According to one aspect of the disclosure, a bulk material handling method includes receiving bulk material on a first level of a system at receiving stations equipped with dust control filtration equipment, pneumatically conveying the bulk material up to a third level into bulk material storage hoppers, storing the bulk material, dispensing the stored bulk material to a bulk material transporter on the first level, including dosing the stored bulk material to an interior of a bulk material dosing hopper to create a bulk material dose, docking the dosing hopper with the transporter via a docking apparatus, and releasing the dose into the interior of the transporter, through a reduced pressure region in an internal volume of the docking apparatus. Other disclosed aspects include a related system, subsystems, and apparatuses.

GRAVIMETRIC METERING UNIT
A gravimetric metering unit for bulk material has a metering means having a container for bulk material to be metered and a base unit. The base unit has a conveyor channel that feeds into an outlet line of the metering unit via a connection device having a flexible sealing element. Via the connection device, the conveyor channel can be operationally connected to the outlet line and detached again from same. The connection device has a magnetic securing arrangement for the operational connection of the sealing element at least to either the outlet line or the conveyor channel or to both.
Vacuum filter assembly for processing bulk granular material and filter mounting assembly therefore
A dust filtering and collection system for filtering dust and other debris particles from an incoming dust laden air stream, such air stream generally being used for conveying granular material into or from a bulk tank trailer, a railroad car, or other conveying vehicle, the filtering system designed to be functioned by vacuum air pressure, operatively generated by a blower, to draw in the soiled air into the filter system, to cleanse such air for further use in the conveying of the granular material. The air flow may be reversed, to provide for a dislodging of any dust particles from the filtering system, and to cleanse the filter for further efficient usage of the system in conveying granular material into or out of the tank trailer, or other vehicle during usage. The filter system includes a pod of filter tubes encapsulated by a polymer header that mounts to a transverse plate that secures to the approximate upper end of the filter canister of the filtration system.
Systems and methods for silica dust reduction at well sites
Systems and methods for silica dust reduction at well sites are described herein. The system can include a blower, a transfer hose having a first end connected to the blower, a second end connected to a hopper containing a granular material, and an interior volume. The system can also include a supply of dust suppression solution in fluid communication with the interior volume of the transfer hose.
