CONVEYING A MATERIAL TO BE CONVEYED
A conveyor system (1) for the continuous or discontinuous conveyance of a reactive and/or hot and/or abrasive material to be conveyed along a conveyor path includes a system housing (3) enclosing the conveyor path, which has at least one fluid inlet (5) for the introduction of fluid into the system housing (3), at least one fluid outlet (7, 9) for the discharge of fluid out of the system housing (3), a charging inlet (4) for introducing material to be conveyed into the system housing (3), and, apart from the at least one fluid inlet (5), the at least one fluid outlet (7, 9) and the charging inlet (4), are implemented in a technically fluid-tight manner.
Material waste sorting system and method
Exemplary embodiments include improved systems and methods for sorting and metering materials to be recycled at a material recovery facility. Systems and methods for the accurate and automated sorting and metering of recoverable materials may include a bunker with an integral conveyor adapted to meter presorted materials such that predetermined amounts of the materials may be delivered to a baler for baling and sale. Exemplary systems may include an auger screw type conveyor sized and shaped to deliver the materials to, for example, a baling system. The systems may also include a crusher for reducing the volume of the materials prior to metering from the bunker; by reducing the volume of the materials in the bunker, a baler may operate more efficiently, increasing output from the facility.

Fluid transport using inductive heating
Aspects and embodiments of systems for fluid transportation using inductive heating are described. In one embodiment, the system includes a first transportation pipe having a first diameter and a second transportation pipe having a second diameter. The first diameter is greater than the second diameter. An augur that causes a fluid flow is within the first transportation pipe. A control circuit is electrically coupled to the first inductive element and the second inductive element, and to a power supply to inductively heat the first transportation pipe and the second transportation pipe.

AIR CONDITIONER, UNIT FOR FLOATING CONVEYING SUBSTRATE WITH AIR CONDITIONER, AND METHOD OF SUPPLYING AIR FOR FLOATING CONVEYING SUBSTRATE
An air conditioner comprising a blower unit to blow air at a predetermined amount, a cooling unit arranged downstream of the blower unit in an air flowing direction, a compressor which is operated at a variable operating frequency so that a revolving speed thereof is adjustable, a condenser, and a cooling coil connected in this order by pipes to circulate a heating medium to cool blown air. A heating unit is arranged on a downstream side of said cooling unit in the air flowing direction in which the blown air is heated by a heater. A control unit controls the operating frequency of the compressor and includes a compressor control part which adjusts the revolving speed of the compressor in such a way that the operating frequency of the compressor is decreased by a predetermined frequency when an output of the heating unit exceeds a first threshold value.

Self-rotating grain spreader and grain monitoring system for a grain bin
A grain bin has a top opening with a hopper for receiving grain that is directed downwardly to a spreader supported for rotation by a vertical tubular center shaft. The spreader has an elongated inclined chute having a V-shape cross-section. The chute has a center portion having an opening with a trap door pivoted or controlled from a mechanism operable from the top opening of the bin. A deflector is positioned under the trap door opening and rotates the chute in response to the flow of grain through the opening. The tubular center shaft encloses an electrical cable that supports a temperature sensing element within the grain in the bin, and a temperature monitoring device is connected to the cable outside the grain bin.
Conveyor belt and module with skewed air-flow passages
A conveyor belt and a belt module having airflow passages that direct air exiting the module in different directions to agitate conveyed products. The airflow passages of injection-molded belt modules are formed with no undercut regions to accommodate the clean parting of the mold halves.
