The track system can include a plurality of tracks, strips, or a rollable mat. The track system can have a length less than a distance between the first point and the second point, wherein the track system is moveable such that tracks which have already been traversed by the battery are moved to a front to accommodate the distance.
Workpiece holding jig
A workpiece holding jig including a base member conveyed by a linear guide and at least one pair of holding pieces arranged on the base member in the direction crossing the conveying direction of the linear guide. Each of the at least one pair of holding pieces includes a workpiece holding portion that fits or contacts with the outer peripheral surface of a workpiece located between the at least one pair of holding pieces to prevent the workpiece from slanting or becoming misaligned during the conveyance. At least one of holding pieces in the at least one pair of holding pieces is movable in the direction away from the other.

The dock frame extends longitudinally and has a variable elongated configuration and longitudinal length. The at least one dock frame module includes the docking interface, where each module is interchangeable with another module, and has control features with a predetermined relationship to a reference datum of the dock frame module and with a reference datum of the dock frame so that the at least one dock frame module is interchangeably coupled in linear configuration with at least the other dock frame module to select the variable elongated configuration and longitudinal length.

A method for monitoring a conveyor system transporting separated piece goods is disclosed. The conveyor system has a display device extending in sections along a transport path for the piece goods. The display device is designed to display at least one optical signal at different points of the transport path, and the display device is coupled to a control device. The control device determines information relating to the relationship of the actual conveyance of the piece good along the transport path with respect to the predetermined conveyance of the piece good along the transport path. An optical signal running along parallel to a piece good transported along the at least one transport path is displayed by the display device. The optical signal indicates the relationship of the actual conveyance of the piece good with respect to the predetermined conveyance of the piece good.

A configurable cutting and transfer apparatus includes a cutter mechanism to cut an incoming web of material into a plurality of discrete articles and a transfer mechanism operable with the cutter mechanism to transfer and rotate the discrete articles from a web receiving location to an article placement location. The transfer mechanism includes a drive shaft rotatable about a transfer axis, a carriage plate mounted to the drive shaft so as to rotate therewith about the transfer axis, and a segmented puck wheel comprising a plurality of carriage units securable to, and repositionable on, the carriage plate so as to rotate therewith to travel along a transfer path about the transfer axis from the web receiving location to the pad placement location, each of the carriage units including a puck operable to provide a rotating and re-pitching of the articles between the web receiving location and the pad placement location.
Automatic system and method for delivering a substance to an animal
A system and method for automatically delivering a substance to an animal including a positioning system that positions each animal singularly, a sensor that detects the location of a predetermined targeted area on the animal and an image processor. The system further includes a delivery device having a plurality of delivery outlets for delivering a substance to the targeted area. The sensor, image processor and delivery device are in communication with a computer processor. The sensor activates the image processor which takes at least one image of the animal positioned singularly. The image is communicated to the computer processor and analyzed. The computer processor activates the delivery outlet proximate the predetermined target area on the animal which delivers an effective dosage of substance to the predetermined targeted area.

This conveyed article sorting device is provided with: a conveyor 10 which conveys articles 5; a track 20 configured such that the articles 5 conveyed by the conveyer 10 can be transferred onto the track 20 from the conveyer 10; and a rotary gate 30 which can come into contact with the articles 5 on the conveyor 10, wherein, when an article 5 to be sampled is conveyed by the conveyor 10, the rotary gate 30 moves the article 5 to be sampled, from the conveyor 10 onto the track 20.
