CONVEYOR SYSTEM FOR THE LOCAL TRANSPORT OF WORKPIECES AND USE OF SAME WITH OR IN A COATING SYSTEM

A conveyor system for the local transport of workpieces having a track having rail sections extending next to one another, with portions, inclined differently from one another relative to a horizontal plane, along which load carriers for receiving the workpieces, are movable one behind the other. Each load carrier has a running gear with a first and a second bearing assembly spaced apart from each other relative to the extension of the track and by which the load carriers are guided on the track. In some sections, the relative height positions of two rails section running next to one another are different from one another. The load carriers, which are each guided via their first bearing assembly on one rail section and via their second bearing assembly on one further rail section, are, relative to the direction of travel, horizontally oriented the same at every point of the track.

Conveyor device for the distanceless and pressureless, or low-pressure, accumulation of objects, and operating method therefor

The invention relates to a conveying device (1) having an accumulation area (SB) for accumulating objects (O, O1 . . . O2, Oa . . . Oj), and to an operating method for the conveying device (1). By means of a measuring device (L1), the object rear edge (K.sub.HO1) of a first object (O1) and the object front edge (K.sub.VO2) of a second object (O2) which follows the first object (O1) are detected. The position of the objects (O1, O2) is determined by means of rotation signals from the drives (M) of conveyor elements (2, 2.sub.M, 2.sub.L). For the second object (O2), a continuous curve of a speed reduction of a target speed (v.sub.Soll) is calculated, wherein the calculated stop position (P.sub.Stop) of the object front edge (K.sub.VO2) of the second object (O2) is located at the position of the object rear edge (K.sub.HO1) of the stopped first object (O1), or between the object front edge (K.sub.VO1) of the stopped first object (O1) and the object rear edge (K.sub.HO1) of the stopped first object (O1). Subsequently, the second object (O2) is moved and stopped by means of the conveyor elements (2, 2.sub.M, 2.sub.L) on the basis of the calculated speed reduction.

Mount for adjustable conveyor belt guiderail and related methods

An apparatus for supporting a guiderail for guiding one or more articles conveyed along a conveyor having a conveying path in a conveying direction. The apparatus includes a mount for mounting to the conveyor. The mount includes a support rail for supporting the guide rail, which support rail may have a length in the conveying direction less than a length of the conveyor. The support rail may include one or more stops for engaging one of a pair of movable supports. The supports may be slidably mounted to the support rail for adjusting a position of the guiderail relative to the conveyor in a direction transverse to the conveying direction. Related methods are also disclosed.

CONVEYOR DEVICE FOR THE DISTANCELESS AND PRESSURELESS, OR LOW-PRESSURE, ACCUMULATION OF OBJECTS, AND OPERATING METHOD THEREFOR

A conveying device has an accumulation area for accumulating objects, and an operating method operates the conveying device. Using a measuring device, the object rear edge of a first object and the object front edge of a second object which follows the first object are detected. The position of the objects is determined using rotation signals from the drives of conveyor elements. For the second object, a continuous curve of a speed reduction of a target speed is calculated, wherein the calculated stop position of the object front edge of the second object is located at the position of the object rear edge of the stopped first object, or between the object front edge of the stopped first object and the object rear edge of the stopped first object. Subsequently, the second object is moved and stopped using the conveyor elements on the basis of the calculated speed reduction.

CONVEYANCE EQUIPMENT

Conveyance equipment includes a first conveyor that conveys a tray on which an article can be placed along a first conveyance path, and a second conveyor that conveys the article along a second conveyance path provided above the first conveyance path. The second conveyor loads the article onto the tray conveyed by the first conveyor. In at least a part of the first conveyor, an upward inclined portion is formed to incline upward in a conveyance direction of the article.

Sidewall fastening system for a conveyor belt

A flexible thermoplastic conveyor belt constructed of one or more belt segments having corrugated sidewalls. The one or more segments are joined end to end at one or more joints. The ends of the sidewalls at or near the joints are fastened together by fasteners to form a continuous sidewall along the length of the belt. The fasteners are toolless fasteners requiring no tools; they can be fastened and unfastened by hand alone.
