METHOD FOR DISCHARGING SUPERABSORBENT PARTICLES FROM A SILO AND FILLING THEM INTO BULK CONTAINERS

Filling process for superabsorbent polymer particles The invention relates to a filling process for superabsorbent polymer particles, comprising discharging the superabsorbent polymer particles out of a silo into bulk container for shipping, wherein the filling level of the silo during filling of the bulk container is never less than 20%, in order to avoid particle segregation.

ORGANIC MATERIAL HANDLING SYSTEM

A modular system and method for improving the receiving, processing, storing, and transloading of bulk materials such as organic waste. A system includes at least a receiving module to receive material, a storage module, a discharge module, and a control system. A liquid capture system captures and retains liquid from the organic material. Systems can be adapted with additional modules, such as processing modules and transfer modules, depending on the site and materials to be handled. The storage module has a levelling component for levelling out the organic material stored therein, including a levelling conveyor in a top region, and a removal component for discharging the organic material. A control system interfaces with the modular components and local operators, and provides remote reporting and monitoring.

POWDER MANAGEMENT CONTAINERS

A powder management container includes a keg body having first and second ports. The keg body has an interior for storing a metallic powder. The first port is defined by the keg body and is fluidly coupled to the keg body interior for transferring metallic powder into and from the keg body interior. The second port is defined by the keg body and is fluidly coupled to the keg body interior for controlling the atmosphere within keg body interior. Methods of making powder management containers and managing powder for additive manufacturing techniques are also disclosed.

RADIAL STACKER WITH ANGLE CONTROL

Embodiments disclosed herein include a stacker for stockpiling bulk material. The stacker may include a linear conveyor having a rear portion including a hopper, and front portion, the conveyor being designed to carry bulk material along an elevating path from a low position adjacent the rear portion to a higher position adjacent the front portion. At least one leg may be mounted to the frame below the hopper, the at least one leg may include a hydraulic jack for increasing and decreasing the effective length of the leg, thereby raising and lowering the rear portion of the conveyor to increase and decrease a degree of elevation of the path. The hopper may be pivotally mounted to the conveyor, with hydraulic cylinders mounted thereto in order to raise and lower an end of the hopper to alter a degree of inclination of the hopper. Means may also be provided for maintaining the hopper in a horizontal disposition regardless of the degree of elevation of the conveyor.

METAL CHIP CONVEYOR HAVING INTERNAL CHIP REMOVAL STRUCTURE
20190217435 · 2019-07-18 ·

A metal chip conveyor having an internal chip removal structure includes an endless conveyor belt. An accommodating room of a machine body is divided into an inner space and an outer space. Two sides of the conveyor belt are provided with chains each having chain links. Each chain link has a first opening facing the inner space and a second opening facing the outer space. Two support bushes are disposed at opposite sides of the casing. The conveyor belt passes around the support bushes and is supported by the support bushes. The support bushes cover the first openings of the chain links corresponding in position to the support bushes when the conveyor belt is running, thereby preventing the metal chips in the chain links from falling back into the inner space through the first openings and ensuring that the metal chips in the inner space to be discharged stably.

Dry bulk tank having an air piping system
10351043 · 2019-07-16 · ·

A dry bulk tank and a method of carrying a load and discharging a load therefrom. The dry bulk tank includes a tank assembly having a first wall that bounds and defines a first compartment for carrying a load therein and a second wall spaced outwardly from at least a portion of the first wall; wherein a second compartment is defined between the first wall and the second wall. The tank assembly includes an air piping system that is selectively actuated to place the first compartment and the second compartment under substantially similar or substantially equal air pressure. In one example the air piping system pumps air into the first compartment and the second compartment. In another example the air piping system evacuates air from the first and second compartments.

Windrow chute with independently movable chute sections

A windrow chute assembly includes a plurality of movable chute sections. A first chute section has a first proximal end for receiving material, and a first distal end opposite the first proximal end. The second chute section has a second proximal end for receiving material, and a second distal end opposite the second proximal end. The first and second proximal ends define a transverse axis therebetween. The first and second chute sections are displaceable toward one another to a closed or partially closed configuration to control the width and placement of each windrow. The first and second chute sections are also displaceable away from one another to an open configuration to provide access to rear areas of the combine.

Material deflector for a ground milling machine
10315858 · 2019-06-11 · ·

A cold planer includes a frame and a conveyor system configured to transport milled material. The conveyor system may include a primary conveyor configured to transfer the milled material to a charge end of a secondary conveyor. The cold planer may also include a material deflector having a deflecting surface angled with respect to a longitudinal axis of the cold planer. The deflecting surface may be configured to deflect at least a portion of the milled material exiting the primary conveyor towards the charge end of the secondary conveyor.

Conveyor Apparatus for a Trailed Spreader
20190168969 · 2019-06-06 ·

A conveyor apparatus comprising an elongated endless flexible conveyor belt having a moulded ridged conformation on its inner surface mounted between a drive roller drum and a take up roller drum, two elongated conveyor side plates and a plurality of idle conveyor rollers, wherein the diameter of the drive roller drum and the take up roller drum is uniform throughout their length.

Control system for cold planer and apparatus and method thereof

A control system, apparatus, and method for controlling operations of a milling machine are described. Data corresponding to a ventilation mode and a conveyor delay amount set by an operator of the milling machine is stored in memory. Control of transition of operation of the milling machine from a milling mode to a standby mode is according to a first predetermined sequence of operations responsive to a first input at a control panel of the milling machine. Further, control of transition of operation of the milling machine from the standby mode to the milling mode is according to a second predetermined sequence of operations, which is in reverse order relative to the first predetermined sequence of operations, in response to the first input at the control panel.
