POSITIONING JIG AND IMPROVED METHODS TO DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE DENTAL IMPLANTS
This invention is directed to a positioning jig for preparing a two or more of adjacent teeth for a dental prosthesis comprising a member with (i) three or more parallel bores in the member and (ii) one or more means to attach the member to a dental articulator. The invention is also directed to methods of use of the position jig such as to prepare a series of aligned holes in teeth or aligned holes mockup of a dental bridge for a prosthesis.
Apparatus and Method to Design Dentures
A method and apparatus for the design and manufacture of dentures wherein the number of office visits that a patient must attend in order to develop and obtain dentures is reduced. In one embodiment, during a first visit, final impressions and a measurement of the patient's upper lip is obtained. In one embodiment, a lab then creates a denture base and applies tooth replicas. In one embodiment, this is done using a physical fabrication aid of an embodiment of the present invention. Alternatively, the denture base can be created from a digital representation, and the denture base is then preferably sized and adjusted during the patient's second visit before final dentures are created and provided to the patient during the patient's third visit.
DIGITAL DENTAL MODEL WITH MEASUREMENT FEATURES
A method comprises receiving a digital file comprising a design model representative of an upper human jaw or a lower human jaw and generating at least one measurement element on the design model. The method further comprises updating the digital file comprising the design model with the at least one measurement element, wherein the digital file comprises a set of instructions to be executed by a three-dimensional (3D) printer to fabricate a dental model with the at least one measurement element based on the design model, wherein the at least one measurement element is measurable to perform a quality assessment of the dental model.
Denture, reference denture, and denture manufacturing method
A denture including a denture base where artificial teeth are fixed, the denture base includes a reference denture base member to which the artificial teeth are fixed and an adjusting member formed of a cured body of a curable denture base material, the adjusting member being joined to the reference denture base member, the adjusting member includes an anterior adjusting member that is joined to a mucosal surface of a base anterior region to form an anterior region together with the base anterior region, and a posterior adjusting member that is joined to a mucosal surface of a base posterior region to form a posterior region together with the base posterior region, and at least parts of base edge side distal end regions in the anterior region and the posterior region are formed of the anterior adjusting member and the posterior adjusting member, respectively.
Articulator
The present invention relates to an articulator. The articulator may significantly improve the coupling force between a maxillary fixing part and a mandibular fixing part. In addition, since the horizontal turning radius of the maxillary fixing part is easily adjustable according to the size of a mandible model, errors that may occur when the state of occlusion between the mandible model and a maxillary model is checked may be easily prevented.

Tooth positioners, method and apparatus for making the same, and method of positioning teeth using the same
A method and apparatus form a tooth positioner for repositioning at least one tooth of a patient and provide a dental arch cast of a patient, separate at least one tooth from the dental arch cast, fix a pin in a stump part of the at least one separated tooth, and in any non-separated teeth, reconstruct the dental arch cast of the patient by aligning the separated teeth to correspond to the alignment in the patient's mouth and hold the pins in a material that may be softened, soften the material, apply force to the pin fixed in the at least one tooth to be repositioned to move it in a desired direction to obtain a realigned arch, and form a tooth positioner corresponding to the realigned arch. The tooth positioner is used by having the patient wear it for a period of time.

IMPRESSIONLESS DENTAL MODELING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Dental systems and methods related to impressionless dental modeling. A dental modeling system includes a dental model base and a mounting plate. The dental model base includes a plate support surface and a plurality of pin receiving apertures formed in the support surface. The mounting plate includes a plate portion positioned on the plate support surface and a plurality of pins extending into the pin receiving apertures to provide removable attachment of the mounting plate to the dental model base. The plate portion includes a model support surface configured to support a model of a person's teeth. The model may be formed directly on the model support surface using an impressionless technique. The model may be formed separately using an impressionless technique and then bonded to the model support surface.
