A sled can include a body and one or more wheels mounted on the body and configured to move through the one or more channels in the rail. A sled can also include a holding device connected to the body. The holding device can be configured to engage a packaging container to move the packaging container along the rail. Multiple sleds can be used to secure a packaging container therebetween and move the packaging container along the rail. The conveyor system may also include a queue system that dynamically moves packaging containers to packaging stations.
GUIDE RAIL CONFIGURATION, CONVEYOR AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING CONTAINERS
The present invention refers to a guide rail configuration for a conveyor and conveyor comprising a guide rail configuration, wherein the conveyor may, for example, be used for conveying products, packages or containers. The guide rail configuration may comprise a detector, in particular a distance sensor or a camera, configured to detect a distance to a lateral side of a container conveyed by the conveyor, or a lateral dimension of the container, wherein the actuator is activated on the basis of a measurement signal from the detector.
Auger coupling assembly with a pivotable clutch
An auger assembly for a farm implement, in which the auger assembly includes a first auger section having a first auger shaft that rotates in a conveying direction about a longitudinal axis of the first auger section and a second auger section having a second auger shaft that rotates about a longitudinal axis of the second auger section. The auger assembly includes a first auger coupling portion that includes a drive hub and a lobe. The auger assembly includes a second auger coupling portion that includes a sleeve, which receives the drive hub such that the drive hub is rotatably engaged with the sleeve. The auger assembly includes a drive pin secured to the second auger coupling portion and a latch arm that pivots in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the second auger section between an engaged position and a disengaged position.
Apparatus for dispensing bedding inside of breeding cages for use in pharmaceutical preclinical research centres, and method of using said apparatus
Apparatus configured for dispensing bedding inside of breeding cages for use in pharmaceutical preclinical research centres, including: a loading hopper located in the upper part of the apparatus, and adapted to contain the bedding to be supplied to the cages; at least one supporting plane adapted to support one or more cages, and positioned under the hopper; an actuator under the hopper, adapted to raise or lower the hopper and the at least one supporting plane; one or more dosing mouths located in the lower part of the loading hopper, and adapted to feed into the cages given quantities of bedding from the hopper; a dispensation system adapted to dispense bedding into the cages through the one or more dosing mouths; a control system adapted to determine the quantity of bedding and to control the actuator; and a base for supporting the apparatus.
Transporter system
A transporter system is provided for transporting a stream of substantially cylindrical objects, the transporter system comprising an intermediate orientation changing transporter section arranged between the first and second transporter section, the intermediate orientation changing transporter section comprising a plurality of stationary guide rails arranged to delimit at least part of an orientation changing passage through which the stream of substantially cylindrical object is guided and a rotatable frame comprising a first movable guide rail configured to delimit the remaining part of the orientation changing passage when the rotatable frame is in a first rotational position and a second movable guide rail configured to delimit the remaining part of the orientation changing passage when the rotatable frame is the second rotational position.
Gripper and transport system for a picking device
A gripper for a transport system of a picking device having horizontal storage surfaces for storing and dispensing small piece goods of different shapes and/or surface properties is provided. The gripper comprises a drop table extending in first and a second horizontal directions and having a storage and dispensing end face. Two elongated gripping jaws are arranged above the drop table extending in the first horizontal direction, and are fastened to a gripping jaw guide arrangement. At least one of the gripping jaws is movable in the second horizontal direction and at least one of the gripping jaws has a gripper coupler in its end portion facing away from the gripping jaw guide arrangement, and at least one transport attachment with an attachment coupler. The gripper and attachment couplers interact so that a transport attachment is releasably fixed at an end portion of a gripping jaw.
RECONFIGURABLE MOTORIZED CONVEYOR ROLLER AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
Various embodiments are directed to reconfigurable motorized conveyor rollers and methods of using the same. In various embodiments, a reconfigurable motorized conveyor roller comprises a housing assembly defining a roller width defined between a first lateral end and a second lateral end opposite the first lateral end; and a housing adjustment assembly disposed within the housing assembly that is operable to adjust the roller width by facilitating a configuration of the housing assembly between a nominal configuration and an expanded configuration; wherein the housing assembly comprises a plurality of coaxial housing components configured for movement relative to one another in one or more lateral directions, and wherein the housing adjustment assembly is operable to cause at least a portion of the plurality of housing components to move in the one or more lateral directions to selectively configure the housing assembly between the nominal configuration and the expanded configuration.
Capping plant and a method for capping and conveying containers made of thermoplastic material
A capping plant (10) for capping containers (100) made of thermoplastic material, includes a capping unit (11) of a rotating carousel type comprising a plurality of capping stations (111) and a first profile (114) arranged so as to contact a part of a tubular body (100a) of the containers (100) which is exposed towards an outside of the rotating carousel of the capping unit (11); a star-wheel (12) located downstream of the capping unit (11); an outfeed conveyor (13) located downstream of the star-wheel (12); a connection cross-member (17) between the first profile (14) and the outfeed conveyor (13), the outfeed conveyor (13) is integrally constrained to a first portion (17a) of the connection cross-member (17) and the first profile (114) is integrally constrained to a second portion (17b) of the connection cross-member (17); an actuating device (18) configured to adjust the height of the connection cross-member (17).
