RADIAL CONVEYOR WITH MULTI-MODE WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A radial conveyor has a multi-mode wheel assembly located at each side of its chassis. Each wheel assembly is movable with respect to the chassis between a non-deployed state and a deployed state. In the non-deployed state the wheel assemblies support transport of the radial conveyor. In the deployed state the wheel assemblies support radial movement of the conveyor. The wheel assemblies can also be raised and lowered with respect to the chassis. This allows the ground clearance of the chassis, and the overall height of the radial conveyor to be adjusted, as well as facilitating transition between operating modes.
VISION BASED CONVEYOR PACKAGE DENSITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A camera based vision system that recognizes and maximizes belt area utilization. A plurality of cameras are positioned at flow entry points of feed conveyors and at the singulator. The control algorithm recognizes individual items area, the rate at which individual objects are passing, and the area utilization of the collector belt. The video camera and computer based conveyor package management system monitor and control the number and size of the packages present on the infeed conveyors, collector conveyor, singulator conveyor and sorting conveyor in a package handling system wherein the camera data is used to measure the available area or space on the conveyors to maintain a desired density of packages on selected conveyor(s). The conveyor speed is controlled as a function of occupancy on a collector or just prior to a singulator or receiver.
Device and method for continuously inspecting containers
The present invention provides an inspection device for continuously inspecting supplied containers, in particular bottles, comprising a feed conveying apparatus, which may be embodied to supply containers to the inspection device in succession, and which may include one or more of at least one inspection apparatus, which is embodied to inspect the supplied containers, a discharge conveying apparatus, which is embodied to discharge the inspected containers, and a throughput station for the containers, arranged between the feed conveying apparatus and the discharge conveying apparatus, wherein the throughput station has a transportation apparatus with an individual drive and a plurality of conveying means movable by means of the individual drive in an individual manner and independently from one another, said transportation apparatus being embodied to convey the containers from the feed conveying apparatus to the discharge conveying apparatus.
Apparatus for processing containers
An apparatus includes a processing station with a container conveyor, a discharge apparatus including a discharge star with a carrier for transporting the containers, a discharge device arranged around the discharge star and defining a discharge curve for guiding the containers, a container inlet arranged at an end of the discharge device for receiving the containers, and a container outlet arranged at a second end of the discharge device for discharging the containers. The discharge device includes a discharge edge at the first end arranged in a region of the container conveyor such that, in the operating state, the container is received by the discharge edge into the container inlet, and the discharge star is rotatable such that the container is transported by the carrier on a guideway delimited by the discharge curve and the discharge star from the container inlet to the container outlet.
Device for handling pallets
A device for handling a pallet includes a pallet through-opening, through which a pallet can be vertically moved while oriented horizontally. The pallet through-opening has in particular at least one extension, which is more than 1200 mm wide and 1200 mm deep, and at least one sidewall, which are each arranged along an associated side of the pallet through-opening. At least one of the sidewalls is detachable or movable.

The invention relates to E-commerce in consumable goods, such as groceries, which is intended to supplement or substitute for diversified retail stores, such as supermarkets. In a first aspect, the invention is of a portable rack, mountable on a load pallet and structured to comprise one or more compartments, arranged one above the other. Each compartment is configured to hold one or more containers, containing goods, and includes a plurality of carry rails, disposed to collectively carry the containers so as to enable lifting each container horizontally out of the compartment. In a second aspect, the invention is of an E-commerce system, for supplying fast moving consumer goods in response to customers' orders, that utilizes an integrated computer network and portable racks in order to increase operating efficiency, reduce required inventory size of each product, shorten supply time and enable offering of a larger variety of products.
Conveyor system with height-adjustable conveyor bodies
A conveyor device includes at least three lift columns, a lower conveyor body, and an upper conveyor body. The upper conveyor body is adjustable in its height relative to the lower conveyor body. The lift columns project at least partially above the upper conveyor body without lengthwise supports acting in the transport direction.

A method for conveying piece goods from a stack, using a finger unit with two flexible flank elements which extend jointly from one end of the finger unit, wherein the two flexible flank elements are in each case flexibly connected to one another by way of a multiplicity of webs such that the finger unit is adjustable from a curved position into a straightened position and back, wherein the finger unit is pressed against the stack in a gripping direction such that one flank element is impressed by one item of piece goods, wherein the finger unit is adjusted from a straightened position into a curved position and, in the process, the finger unit grips the item of piece goods, and wherein the gripped item of piece goods is moved by the finger unit from the stack in a transport direction perpendicular to the gripping direction.
