METHOD FOR DENTURE ATTACHMENT
A method for positioning a tissue-implanted magnetic member in an edentulous ridge of a patient and positioning a corresponding magnetic member in a removable prosthesis. The method includes forming an incision into an edentulous ridge based on a first set of markings on a mucosa surface; positioning a first magnetic member into the incision; forming a divot into an intaglio surface of a denture based on a second set of markings; and positioning the second magnetic member into the formed divot. Furthermore, a piercing tool assembly is provided for making an incision in positioning a tissue-implanted magnetic member in an edentulous ridge.
Molds for custom dental implant abutments and impression posts
Molds for fabrication of custom and potentially modifiable abutments and impression posts for dental implants with various degrees of angulations (including zero degrees) and various dimensions are provided, with a generally oval shape that expands laterally upwards, a symmetrical or asymmetrical cross-section, and regular surfaces, that are fabricated as one piece, or as two coupling pieces snapping onto each other. Custom abutments achieve the development of a custom gingival emergence profile, three dimensionally, which is potentially modifiable according to the needs of each particular clinical case. Custom impression posts that correspond in dimensions and angulations to the abutments allow the accurate recording and transfer of the developed gingival emergence profile from the mouth onto the working cast, where the final implant prosthesis is fabricated. Custom abutments and impression posts have properties and design that allows their preparation and usage as temporary abutments for the cementation and support of temporary prostheses.
Device and method for holding prosthetic teeth
A method for producing a dental prosthesis, and a dental prosthesis made according to the method, the method having the following chronological steps: a) producing a first, provisional dental prosthesis comprising a prosthetic base and provisional prosthetic teeth having occlusal surfaces, whereby data that indicate at least a 3-dimensional form of the occlusal surfaces are stored or have been stored as data record A, b) after subtractive occlusal processing of at least one of the provisional prosthetic teeth, determining at least the 3-dimensional occlusal surfaces of the processed provisional prosthetic teeth, or determining the 3-dimensional surface of the first dental prosthesis is determined as a whole, c) storing data that indicate at least a form of the 3-dimensional occlusal surfaces as data record B, d) calculating, via a computer comparison of data record B with data record A, differences in the forms of the provisional prosthetic teeth before and after subtractive occlusal processing and, from this, calculating at least desired lengths for final prosthetic teeth, and e) producing said final prosthetic teeth at least with the calculated desired length using a CAM method from virtual models of the final prosthetic teeth, whereby the desired length is set by a basal shortening of the virtual models of the final prosthetic teeth, and the final prosthetic teeth produced in such a manner are firmly connected to the at least one first prosthetic base or at least one second prosthetic base.
DIGITAL DENTURE MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING SYSTEM, AND DENTURE HOLE GUIDER APPLIED THERETO AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
In order to improve manufacturing convenience and precision, the present invention provides a digital denture manufacturing method comprising: a first step of acquiring a three-dimensional work image, on which occlusion information between a target dental arch and an opposing dental arch and implant information of a fixture implanted in the target dental arch are displayed, and preparing a temporary denture in which a binding region formed to correspond to a binding portion profile of an abutment fastened to the fixture is arrayed and arranged; a second step of acquiring an auxiliary scan image for the temporary denture; a third step of acquiring, from the auxiliary scan image, a correction surface image on three-dimensional surface information of an inner surface-side engagement groove of the temporary denture including the binding region; and a fourth step of designing and manufacturing a digital denture having a virtual binding groove corresponding to the position and the shape of the three-dimensional surface information of the binding region, in an inner surface profile set according to the three-dimensional surface information of the engagement groove.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DIGITAL OVERDENTURE AND HOLDER ABUTMENT MOUNTING GUIDE AND FIXING BAR BENDING APPARATUS FOR HOLDER DEVICE APPLIED THERETO
Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a digital overdenture. The method includes a first operation of aligning and setting a plurality of pieces of implantation information of fixtures according to alveolar bone information in a planning image, a second operation of designing and manufacturing a surgical guide and a holder abutment mounting guide, a third operation of preparing a temporary denture corrected to form a temporary holder insertion portion having an inner surface part into which a holder device is inserted to be shape-matched therewith, in which the surgical guide is installed in the target arch to implant the fixtures and the fixing bar is fixed to the holder abutments moved to and coupled with top ends of the fixtures by the holder abutment mounting guide, and a fourth operation of manufacturing a digital overdenture including an artificial tooth portion and an artificial gum portion.
MISSING TOOTH SUPPLEMENTING DENTAL PROSTHESIS
The present invention relates to a missing tooth supplementing dental prosthesis that may provide the best wearing comfort regardless of the condition of a user's gums as the height of an end of a missing tooth supplementing member is adjusted according to the condition of the user's gums. The present disclosure proposes a missing tooth supplementing dental prosthesis including: a prosthetic body configured to be detachably worn in the oral cavity of a user who has at least one missing tooth, and provided with a fastening portion that is formed in a portion corresponding to a missing tooth; and a missing tooth supplementing member configured to be height-adjustably coupled to the fastening portion of the prosthetic body, to be height-adjusted according to the condition of the user's gums, and to supplement the missing tooth as an embodiment.
DENTURE BLOCK
The present invention provides a denture block capable of integrally and simply manufacturing a denture by using a CAD/CAM system. A denture is manufactured by cutting using a CAD/CAM system in a state in which the ridge portion 1b is gripped, has: an upper part which is a white part 2 to correspond to a tooth part of the denture; and a lower part which is a gingival color part 3 to correspond to a denture plate of the denture, wherein the white part 2 and the gingival color part 3 are integrally formed by being brought into close contact with each other with no gaps therebetween including the inside thereof, and a plurality of convex portions 4 and concave portions 5 are formed on an upper surface 3a which is the boundary surface of the gingival color part 3 with the white part 2.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING DENTAL ADAPTIVE ELEMENT FOR ALLEVIATING RECESSION OF GINGIVA
A method for producing a dental adaptive element for alleviating recession of gingiva around an alveolar socket of a patient includes: obtaining images of a tooth; creating a 3D model having a crown part and a root part based on the images; obtaining a boundary curve on the 3D model between the crown part and the root part; on the root part of the 3D virtual model, obtaining an imaginary surface that protrudes in a direction from the crown part toward the root part; extracting a sub-model from the 3D model by removing a portion of the root part that extends between the imaginary surface and an end of the root part; and producing a dental adaptive element according to the sub-model.
