Low profile transfer conveyor for use with conveyor systems
09758317 · 2017-09-12 · ·

The low profile transfer conveyor bridges gaps between terminal ends of contiguous multi segment conveyors and provides a driven belt bridge with a length that approximately bridges the space between the flat surfaces of conveyor belt segments of the multi segment conveyors and has a low profile which minimizes any unsupported distance across which articles must cross between conveyor belt segments by providing a small continuous section of driven conveyor belt traversing a flat surface bounded on two sides by small radius edges so the transfer conveyor edges extend almost to the flat surface of the belt segments on opposite sides of the gap that it bridges. At its ends, the belt of the transfer conveyor is driven by one or more drive pulleys.

VERTICAL CONVEYING SYSTEM
20250197124 · 2025-06-19 ·

A conveyor system includes a first vertical conveyor, a second vertical conveyor adjacent to the first vertical conveyor, and a lateral conveyor disposed at least partially above the first and second conveyors. The system may independently convey a carrier through the system for temporary buffer storage, such as in an oven application to increase time at a desired temperature. The first vertical conveyor may elevate a carrier to couple with lateral supports of the lateral conveyor. The lateral conveyor may laterally convey the carrier to a position above the second vertical conveyor via the lateral supports. The second vertical conveyor may decouple the carrier from the lateral support and lower the carrier through the second vertical conveyor. The system may also include a controller configured to control operation of the conveyors.

Roller shoe and slat sorter conveyor

A roller shoe slat sorter conveyor system includes a conveyor forming an upwardly facing support surface. The support surface includes slots oriented transversely to the conveying direction and a plurality of roller shoe assemblies mounted for sliding movement along respective slots for transversely discharging objects from a medial position to either side of the conveying surface. Each roller shoe assembly includes a releasably mounted carrier disposed below the conveying surface. The releasable connection enables the roller shoe to detach from the carrier, and be manually reattached. The elongated roller shoe features downward slanting ends and includes a plurality of roller wheels extending above the surface of the shoe mounted to axles movable in a vertical axis whereby an article resting on the rollers of a shoe depresses the rollers so they contact the slat surface and move an article resting thereon at twice the speed of the shoe.

Hybrid starwheel system for inspecting an empty bottle

A system for inspecting bottles includes a conveyor conveying bottles at a first speed. A starwheel, rotating at a second speed, less than the first speed, receives each bottle. Sensors are disposed adjacent the starwheel for detecting at least one of a residual liquid in the bottle and a defect in the bottle. The starwheel deposits each bottle on the conveyor at a downstream position. An outer sidewall inspection system, disposed along the path, has a first camera assembly and a second camera assembly disposed along the path and each bottle passes therebetween. A first belt is disposed along the conveyor in facing relation with a second belt to rotate the bottle. The outer sidewall inspection system has a third camera assembly and a fourth camera assembly disposed along the path, downstream of the first belt; each bottle passing between the third camera assembly and the fourth camera assembly.
