Glass sheet processing system having cooling of conveyor roller ends
A hot glass sheet processing system includes a conveyor roller support structure (34) located within a heated location (32) and has an elongated cooling unit (36) having a housing (38) defining a cooling chamber (40) that receives and has bearings (42) that rotatably support an aligned set of roller ends (30). The cooling unit includes a cooling circuit that supplies cooling fluid to the cooling chamber (40) to provide cooling of the aligned set of roller ends (30) and the bearings (42).
GLASS SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM HAVING COOLING OF CONVEYOR ROLLER ENDS
A hot glass sheet processing system includes a roller conveyor (22) having sintered bonded fused silica rollers (24) and a roller support structure (34) located within a heated location (32) together with an elongated cooling unit (36) having a housing (38) defining a cooling chamber (40) that receives and has bearings (42) that rotatably support an aligned set of roller ends (30) having end caps (86) adhesively bonded to the roller ends. The cooling unit includes a cooling circuit that supplies cooling fluid to the cooling chamber (40) to provide cooling of the aligned set of roller ends (30) and the bearings (42).
WATER COLLECTING PALLET RACK AND METHOD OF FIRE PROTECTION
An open framework warehouse storage rack system for supporting articles on multi-tiered shelves within the wetting zone of an overhead fire sprinkler system. The storage rack system comprises one or more a longitudinally extending rack arrays. A falling water collection system is combined with some or all of the rack arrays. The falling water collection system includes any one of several water handling features that enhance the wetting of storage articles during a fire. One such feature is a scoop-like longitudinal water catcher that protrudes outwardly beyond the front and/or rear faces of the rack array. Another is a transverse intra-stanchion water diverter. Another is a transverse mid-span water diverter. Another is a gutter formed integrally in an uppermost beam. And another is a vertical flue catcher. The falling water collection system maximizes the amount of water that is applied directly to a fire inside the rack array.
PALLET TOWER FOR HIGH DENSITY PALLET STORAGE AND METHOD
A pallet tower for high-density pallet storage which provides for loading and unloading of pallets from a pallet storage area via mechanical operation. The pallet tower has a base frame defining a pallet receiving area, the pallet receiving area for receiving a pallet: a containment frame attached to a support latch frame and/or the base frame, the containment frame defining a pallet storage area for storing the pallet; and a support latch frame attached to the base frame, the support latch frame having a support latch operable between an open configuration and a closed configuration, and the support latch in the closed configuration for supporting the pallet when the pallet is in the pallet storage area.
DEVICE FOR PROVIDING A CROSSOVER POINT
The invention relates to a device (100) for providing a crossover point between a first region (1) and a second region (2) hermetically delimited from the first region (1) by means of a wall (10), wherein the device comprises:a lock chamber (12), which can be inserted into an opening (11) provided in the wall and which has a first opening (13) forming a crossover point between the first region and the lock chamber and which has a second opening (14) forming a crossover point between the second region and the lock chamber;at least one peripherally circulating element (15), which has at least one passage opening (15.1; 19.1; 15.2; 19.2) and can be moved in relation to the first and the second opening of the lock chamber so that at least a first state, in which the at least one passage opening is substantially aligned with the first opening of the lock chamber and enables access from the first region into the lock chamber and the peripherally circulating element covers the second opening of the lock chamber substantially completely, and a second state, in which the at least one passage opening is substantially aligned with the second opening of the lock chamber and enables access from the second region into the lock chamber and the peripherally circulating element covers the first opening of the lock chamber substantially completely, can be selectively effected.
SERVICE VEHICLE FOR EXTINGUISHING FIRE ON AND WITHIN AN AUTOMATED STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM AND A METHOD THEREOF
The invention concerns a service vehicle for extinguishing fire on and within an automated storage and retrieval system and a method for operating such a service vehicle. The service vehicle comprises caterpillar tracks allowing movement of the service vehicle across a rail system and a fire extinguisher compartment for containing firefighting equipment.
STORAGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A storage system is disclosed where goods can be stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of rails (e.g., tracks) on which load handling devices can run. To take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked. The framework may be provided with one or more of the following exemplary services: power, power control, heating, lighting, cooling, sensors, and data logging devices. The provision of these services within the framework rather than across the system as a whole, can allow for flexibility in storage whilst reducing cost and inefficiency.
AUTOMATED GRID STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEM WITH PASSIVE FIRE PREVENTION ARRANGEMENT
An autonomous grid storage system arranged in a warehouse space. The autonomous grid storage system is divided within the warehouse space, for example on a single floor of said space, into a plurality of sub grids separated by fire walls. One or more bridges pass through openings in the fire wall to allow bin handling vehicles to traverse between the sub grids. The openings are provided with closable fire door.
Heat-resistant laminated conveyer belt
A heat-resistant laminated conveyer belt includes a fluororesin-coated core and a reinforcement layer which is formed on the core through an adhesive layer. The core is obtained by impregnating an aramid fiber woven fabric in a fluororesin dispersion and drying and sintering the fabric. The reinforcement layer is obtained by impregnating an aramid fiber woven fabric to which stretch properties are applied in a fluororesin dispersion and drying and sintering the fabric. The aramid fiber woven fabric of the core is a woven fabric by a plain-weave seamless loom or a circular loom. The aramid fiber woven fabric of the core includes an S-twist weft yarn and a Z-twist weft yarn which are alternatively arranged.
