FLAME RETARDANT POLYURETHANE COATING FOR BELT CONVEYOR ROLLERS
The invention relates to a roller composed of a shaft (1), which comprises a metal housing (2), a machined metal bearing (3) that houses bearings, further, by the roller having a flame retardant polyurethane coating (4) UL94 V-0, impact energy sink. Nevertheless, it comprises a labyrinth top seal (5) and retainer seal (6) retaining contaminants or moisture, being fixed in the machined metal bearing (3). It also has a bearing (7) fixed to the machined metal bearing (3) and fixed by means of an elastic ring (8). The elastic ring (8) keeps the bearing in the predetermined position inside the machined metal bearing (3), in addition to being fixed to the machined metal bearing (3) and/or to the shaft (1). In this way, belt conveyor rollers, whether impact, return, load, turning, aligner or tensioner rollers, are used in the belt conveyors and applied along the entire length of the conveyor, whose function is to allow the slide of the belt on the conveyor, enabling the transport of the material. The present coating is applied on the outside of the roller housing, with the objective of protecting the housing against wear caused by friction between the belt and the roller.
Pallet car for the transport of bulk material for a thermal treatment
Provided is a pallet car for the transport of bulk material for a thermal treatment thereof. The pallet car comprises a frame with at least two opposed cross-beams on which grate bars rest and two end pieces each connecting the cross-beams with each other, which each include at least two rollers and at least one side wall. In the pallet car, the grate bars and/or the side walls and/or the insulating plates are made of a ceramic fiber composite, wherein the fibers are metallic and high-temperature resistant.
ROBOTIC FIRE EXTINGUISHING DEVICE AND HANDLING METHOD
A fire extinguishing robotic service device is described for use with a robotic picking system grid. The fire extinguishing robotic service device is configured for driving to any location on the grid in order to extinguish a fire. The service device may also be provided with a camera sensor to locate the fire.
STORAGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A storage system is described where goods are stored in containers (10) and the containers (10) are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of tracks on which load handling devices run. The containers (10) may be provided with one or more of the following services: power, power control, heating, lighting, cooling, sensing means, and data logging means. The provision of these services within individual containers rather than across the system as a whole, allows for flexibility in storage whilst reducing cost and inefficiency.
Robotic picking system device and method
A bin is described for use on a robotic picking system grid. The bin is capable of removing liquids from beneath a robotic picking system following spillages or sprinkler deployments.
Plant for dry conveying of slag and / or heterogenous materials
A transport system for the transport of combustion waste, comprising:a belt conveyor for transporting the waste, arranged at the bottom of a combustion chamber and apt to transport the waste onto a transport surface (311) movable along a longitudinal direction of advancement; andside boards (81, 82) for containing the waste in a transport region (80), arranged above said transport surface, ratably connected to a casing of the conveyor and bearing wearable members (811, 812) apt to establish a sliding seal with lateral fins (312, 313) of the movable transport surface of the conveyor belt, so that the transported material be confined in the transport region defined by said movable transport surface and by said boards bearing the wearable members.
TRANSPORTING DEVICE, VACUUM ARRANGEMENT, TRANSPORTING ROLLER AND METHOD
According to various embodiments, a transporting device may comprise: a plurality of transporting rollers, of which at least two transporting rollers comprises: a glass tube mounted rotatably about an axis of rotation; the glass tube being joined together from a plurality of tube segments, a first tube segment of which is arranged between two second tube segments; and the first tube segment having a plurality of portions, the circumferential surfaces of which are surfaces of rotation with respect to the axis of rotation and/or are arranged coaxially; the plurality of transporting rollers providing by means of the circumferential surfaces a transporting surface for transporting a substrate in plate form and/or in strip form.
Storage systems and methods
A storage system is described where goods are stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of tracks on which load handling devices run. The load handling devices take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked out. Each container may be provided with connectors having a push fit male connector located at a top edge of the container and a female connector at a bottom edge of the container. Adjacent containers in a stack can be linked by routing means, which form moldings on each container. The connectors can also have spring-loaded contacts. The provision of these services within individual containers rather than across the system as a whole, allows for flexibility in storage whilst reducing cost and inefficiency.
FLAME RETARDANT STORAGE CABINET WITH INVENTORY CONTROL
Systems and methods of the invention relate to managing an inventory of items within a storage container. A storage container can house one or more items for distribution among one or more users such as, for instance, employees. The storage container discussed herein provides authentication of a user, tracking of the inventory each user removes or returns, video/image capture of user during access of the storage container, wireless tracking of items housed within the storage container, among others.
Article Transport Facility
An article transport facility comprises an article transport vehicle, a guide rail, and a fire door configured to open and close an opening formed in a wall. The fire door is rotatable with respect to the wall. The guide rail has a movable rail portion supported by the fire door, and two stationary rail portions arranged across the movable rail portion from each other. A movable guide portion is provided at one of an end portion of the movable rail portion and an end portion of the stationary rail portion. The movable guide portion is capable of being moved between a guiding position in which the movable guide portion connects the movable rail portion and the stationary rail portion with the fire door in an open position, and a retracted position for allowing unhindered movement of the fire door and the movable rail portion when the fire door is rotated.
