High temperature resistant conveyor belt
Heavy duty conveyor belts having excellent resistance to high temperatures. These conveyor belts can be repeatedly exposed to temperatures of greater than 150? C. or even greater than 200? C. without compromising the strength or reliability of the belt while providing a greatly extended service life. The conveyor belts generally include a reinforcement layer, a carry cover layer disposed above the reinforcement layer, a pulley cover layer disposed beneath the reinforcement layer. The carry cover layer contains a high temperature resistant compound based upon a peroxide curable rubber mixture of ethylene propylene copolymer with ethylene based polyolefin elastomer, and in some aspects, further includes a combination of diphenylamine (DPA), zinc 2-mercaptomethyl benzimidazole (ZMTI), and 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline (TMQ), and additionally, any other suitable additives.
Storage system with partition means and methods
A storage system is described where goods are stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of tracks on which load handling devices run. The load handling devices take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked out. The framework may be provided with one or more of the following services: power, power control, heating, lighting, cooling, sensing, and data logging. A method of partitioning the storage system prevents the spread of fire or prevent damage caused by sprinkler activation.
Article Transport Facility
A fire protection door in an open position is present above a traveling path of a transport vehicle. The fire protection door is capable of moving downward from the open position to a closed position along a door trajectory. The transport vehicle includes: a control portion; an area detection portion that detects an interference area, which is an area in which a portion of the transport vehicle in the traveling path overlaps the door trajectory; and a descent detection portion that detects a descent of the fire protection door. The control portion performs a retraction control such that the transport vehicle travels to the outside of the interference area when the descent detection portion has detected a descent of the fire protection door in a state in which the transport vehicle is located in the interference area.

The containers may be provided with one or more of the following services: power, power control, heating, lighting, cooling, sensing, and data logging. The provision of these services within individual containers rather than across the system as a whole, allows for flexibility in storage while reducing cost and inefficiency.
PALLET CAR FOR THE TRANSPORT OF BULK MATERIAL FOR A THERMAL TREATMENT
Provided is a pallet car for the transport of bulk material for a thermal treatment thereof. The pallet car comprises a frame with at least two opposed cross-beams on which grate bars rest and two end pieces each connecting the cross-beams with each other, which each include at least two rollers and at least one side wall. In the pallet car, the grate bars and/or the side walls and/or the insulating plates are made of a ceramic fiber composite, wherein the fibers are metallic and high-temperature resistant.
A Grid Framework Structure
A grid framework structure for supporting a load handling device operative to move one or more containers in a stack. The grid framework structure includes a plurality of upright members forming a supporting framework structure mounted to a substructure; a grid structure including a plurality of grid members arranged in a grid pattern having a plurality of grid cells, each of the plurality of grid cells including a grid opening; and solid walled panels distributed internally within the supporting framework structure such that each of the plurality of solid walled panels lies in a respective vertical plane within the supporting framework structure having a first end anchored to the substructure and a second end secured to the grid structure to provide stability to the grid framework structure.

The load handling devices take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked out. Each container may be provided with connectors having a push fit male connector located at a top edge of the container and a female connector at a bottom edge of the container. Adjacent containers in a stack can be linked by routing means, which form moldings on each container. The connectors can also have spring-loaded contacts. The provision of these services within individual containers rather than across the system as a whole, allows for flexibility in storage whilst reducing cost and inefficiency.
Glass sheet processing system having cooling of conveyor roller ends
A hot glass sheet processing system includes a roller conveyor (22) having sintered bonded fused silica rollers (24) and a roller support structure (34) located within a heated location (32) together with an elongated cooling unit (36) having a housing (38) defining a cooling chamber (40) that receives and has bearings (42) that rotatably support an aligned set of roller ends (30) having end caps (86) adhesively bonded to the roller ends. The cooling unit includes a cooling circuit that supplies cooling fluid to the cooling chamber (40) to provide cooling of the aligned set of roller ends (30) and the bearings (42).
BACKSTOP SUPPORT BRACKET
A backstop bracket which can be removably secured to a support member of a pallet rack limits the distance a load can travel along the pallet rack. When installed on the support member of the pallet rack, the bracket allows for uniform pallet placement on the pallet rack and maintains a predetermined distance between the load on the pallet rack and an adjacent structure, for example, another pallet rack, a wall or a column, to define a vertical flue space for air circulation and fire prevention purposes. The bracket is preferably formed of steel or other suitable metal or, in the alternative, can comprise an elastomeric material including a high impact plastic.
