20230068674 · 2023-03-02 ·

A return roller is pivotally supported in a frame-fixed articulation region (20, 21) of a belt conveyor device having a transport belt. A pivot arm (30, 31) extends in a running direction (L) of the transport belt, orthogonal to a longitudinal axis (12) of the return roller, supporting it about the longitudinal axis. A pivot element (40) is spaced apart from the return roller in the running direction. A pivot bearing (22, 23) is arranged on the articulation region for mounting the pivot element for a pivoting movement of the pivot arm around a pivot axis between an operating position and an nonoperating position of the return roller. A bearing surface (24, 25), in a section perpendicular to the pivot axis, is formed as an open arc, with an opening (26, 27) having a center angle (φ) of less than 180°.

The first rail member includes a first base wall, a first leg extending from a first end of the first base wall, a second leg extending from an opposite second end of the first base wall, a first bottom retaining wall, and a first side retaining wall defining a first inner taper portion extending inwardly toward the second leg. The second rail member includes a second base wall, an inner wall, an opposite outer wall, a second bottom retaining wall, and a second side retaining wall defining a second inner taper portion extending inwardly toward the inner wall. The second inner taper portion is a mirror image of the first inner taper portion.

Manually-adjustable lifter apparatus for conveyor belts

An apparatus/method for a conveyor belt lifter apparatus that can be manually-configured to accommodate differently-sized conveyor belts of conveyor systems. The apparatus includes a pair of lifts in between which a trough-shaped adjustable conveyor belt support arm is releasably-secured. An adjustable shaft coupler connects the lifts to allow simultaneous activation and movement of both lifts by an operator engaging only one lift. An adjustable base also allows the apparatus to be adjusted for the conveyor system size. These adjustable components comprise segments that can be releasably secured using quick-release pins. The height of the ends of the conveyor belt support arm can also be manually adjusted to eliminate any gap between the conveyor belt and the support arm before lift activation. Each lift comprises a manually-controlled screw jack with an extender formed thereon to allow the lifter apparatus to raise or lower the particular conveyor belt once the lifter apparatus is installed.

AUTOMATED STORAGE SYSTEMS, AND DEVICES

A load handling device is disclosed for lifting and moving storage containers stacked in a grid framework structure having first and second sets of parallel rails or tracks. The load handling device includes: a body mounted on first and second sets of wheels arranged to engage with the tracks. A direction-change assembly is arranged to raise or lower the first set of wheels and or lower or raise the second set of wheels with respect to the body to engage and disengage the wheels with the tracks. The direction-change assembly includes a linkage-set having a series of members arranged between a traveller and a fixed brace, wherein the traveller is arranged to move under an applied force to cause the wheels to raise or lower.
