Conveying And Sorting Apparatus
A conveying and sorting apparatus has a plurality of tilting conveyor units in the conveying direction. Each tilting conveyor unit is able to swing to the left and right about a support shaft, between a horizontal conveying orientation and a tilted orientation for ejecting objects being conveyed by means of gravity. Both side edges in the left and right swinging direction are provided with side guides which restrict the width of the conveying path, and at least the side guide on the side to which the conveyor unit swings in the tilted orientation, is supported so as to be able to open in the swinging direction towards the tilted orientation with respect to the structure of the tilting conveyor unit, and is held in a standing orientation by the orientation holding means until a certain load or more is applied in to said side guide in the opening direction.
Inventory shelving with movable barrier to obstruct pathway to high-energy equipment
In one embodiment, a shelving unit has first and second sides, a frame, and a barrier. The frame defines a storage bay between the first and second sides, a first opening at the first side, and a second opening at the second side. The second opening receives a storage bin therethrough and into the storage bay. The first opening receives inventory items therethrough and into the storage bin when the storage bin is disposed in the storage bay. The barrier moves between (i) an open position, where the first opening is open to the storage bay so as to allow inventory items to be passed therethrough and into the storage bin, and (ii) a closed position, where the barrier at least partially obstructs at least one of the first and second openings so as to impede a human from reaching through the storage bay when the storage bin is removed.
SELF-DRIVING VEHICLE SYSTEM WITH STEERABLE CAMERA AND INDICATOR
Embodiments of the present disclosure include automated guided vehicles (AGVs) having a steerable camera for target-tracking. In one embodiment, the AGV includes a body having one or more motorized wheels, the body having a first end and a second end opposing the first end, a console coupled in an upright position to the first end of the body, and a first camera coupled to the console, the first camera providing one or more axes of rotation and is operable to follow an object.
TRANSPORT VEHICLE
A moving mechanism moves a swing suppression unit in a traveling direction between an advanced position contacting a FOUP and a retracted position away from the FOUP by a drive of a drive unit. A buffer mechanism that allows the swing suppression unit that has been moved to the advanced position by the drive of the drive unit to move to the traveling direction after stopping the drive of the drive unit. The buffer mechanism includes a first coupling portion and a rod-shaped portion coupled to the swing suppression unit to perform a movement of an operation amount in accordance with an amount of movement of the swing suppression unit to a second position direction, a first bias portion that biases the first coupling portion and the rod-shaped portion so that the swing suppression unit presses the FOUP, and a second bias portion that acts on the first coupling portion and the rod-shaped portion when the operation amount of the first coupling portion and the rod-shaped portion is greater than a predetermined amount and that biases the first coupling portion and the rod-shaped portion so that the swing suppression unit presses the FOUP.
ADJUSTABLE ANTI-TRAP GUARD FOR BELT CONVEYORS
Support station for supporting a conveyor belt of a belt conveyor system, with several support rollers rotatably held on a support frame, and an anti-trap guard with several anti-trap guard sections, wherein in each case an anti-trap guard section is arranged adjacent to a support roller and at a distance from the conveyor belt, wherein each anti-trap guard section is held on a support, wherein in each case a flexible intermediate section is arranged between ends of two adjacent anti-trap guard sections and connects these flexibly with each other, wherein at least one of the supports is adjustable and thereby the distance of the anti-trap guard section that is held on it from the conveyor belt and a distance of at least one intermediate section from the conveyor belt can be set, as well as a method for adjustment.
Multi-bar linkage mechanism based conveyor
The invention discloses a multi-bar linkage mechanism based conveyor, comprising a gantry system, a multi-bar linkage mechanism based conveyor boom, a boom support, a two-drum winch, a roller unit and an automatic control system. The gantry system, the two-drum winch and the boom support are mounted on a deck of a hull. The conveyor boom is formed of multi-bar linkage mechanisms, the movement of which can be changed. Rollers are mounted on the conveyor boom. The rear segment of the conveyor boom is articulated with the boom support. The two-drum winch is connected to the multi-bar linkage mechanism based conveyor boom via a steel wire rope and by a set of gantry pulleys. A hydraulic device and a control device are arranged between adjacent multi-bar linkage mechanisms. A tension sensor is arranged at an end of the steel wire rope. The whole conveyor is controlled by the automatic control system.
CONVEYOR ASSEMBLY HAVING DYNAMIC FRAME COMPONENTS AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
Various embodiments are directed to conveyor apparatuses and methods of using the same. In various embodiments, a conveyor apparatus comprises a conveyor frame including a plurality of opposing sidewalls extending in a length direction and a bottom panel comprising a hinged configuration relative to the opposing sidewalls such that the bottom panel is configured for movement throughout a range of rotational motion between a closed position and an open position; and a bottom panel positioning assembly comprising: a mounting bracket secured to one of the opposing sidewalls; a positioning element slidably engaged relative to the mounting bracket and configurable between a nominal position and an engaged position; and a retention element configured to bias the positioning element towards the nominal position; wherein the bottom panel positioning assembly is configured to facilitate selective arrangement of the bottom panel based at least in part on an arrangement of the positioning element.
MACHINE TOOL AND DRAG FRAME CONVEYOR FOR FEEDING/REMOVING WORKPIECES
A machine tool comprises a machine frame, a first spindle having a first workholder rotatable about a first axis, a second spindle having a second workholder rotatable about a second axis, a first tool carrier for machining one side of a workpiece in the first spindle, and a second tool carrier for machining a different side of a workpiece in the second spindle. The second spindle is arranged on a spindle carrier movable relative to the machine frame, using a carriage system, in parallel with and transversely to the first axis. The second workpiece spindle is pivotal on the spindle carrier, using a pivoting device, about a pivot axis that extends perpendicularly to a movement plane. The second tool carrier is positioned on a guide carriage movable relative to the machine frame in parallel with the pivot axis. A drag frame conveyor is provided to feed or transport workpieces.
