Computerized systems and methods for assisted picking processes

Embodiments of the disclosure include a computer implemented system including at least one processor and memory storing instructions. In one embodiment, a system receives a batch identifier, determines a number of containers, sends the number of containers to a user device, and receives a first container identifier from a user device. The system retrieves a location identifier of a first item, sends the location identifier to the user device, and receives a physical location identifier from the user device. The system sends to the user device the first item when the physical location identifier matches the location identifier. The system receives a physical item identifier of the first item and sends a destination to the user device to bring the container.

A robotic system including a storage structure provided with vertical members supporting a grid collectively defining grid spaces and a plurality of storage containers arranged in vertical stacks for storing inventory items, each one of the vertical stacks configured to be arranged within a respective one of the grid spaces. One or more load handling robots are installed upon the grid and include a lifting device extendable in a vertical direction to extract one or more storage containers from the vertical stacks and transport the extracted storage container to a station. The robotic system further includes one or more manipulator robots installed at the station and within a single grid space. The one or more manipulator robots include a picking arm provided with a pneumatic gripping tool arranged to pick an inventory item from the transported storage container and place the picked item into an order container.

Inventory management system

In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful for product storage location identification. Reconfigurable lights can be mounted to product storage locations and one or more of the lights can be illuminated to identify a particular storage location, such as for placement or pick up of a product. The system described herein can utilize radio-frequency identification (RFID) chips or tags to identify products and storage locations. So configured, the system can identify which storage location a particular product is in or can identify where a particular product should be placed.

ARTICLE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT APPARATUS, ARTICLE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SYSTEM, AND ARTICLE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT METHOD

An article management support apparatus sets coordinates indicating a position of an observation point and an observation direction from the observation point in a space including article storage spaces, acquires coordinates of an article picking opening of an article storage space within a predetermined range with respect to the position of the observation point and the observation direction, acquires information on the article stored in the article storage space corresponding to the article picking opening for which the coordinates are acquired, transforms the acquired coordinates of the article picking opening into coordinates on an image seen in the observation direction from the position of the observation point, generates an image for displaying the information on the article stored in the article storage space corresponding to the article picking opening for which the coordinates are acquired in association with a position of the transformed coordinates, and displays the generated image.

TRANSPORT DEVICE

A transport device has a position detection portion, a holding portion attached to an arm, a driving portion to drive the holding portion and the arm, and a control portion. A control portion controls the position detection portion and the driving portion to perform, as one cycle, a procedure to detect a position of a parcel, select parcels based on a predetermined condition, and set priority for the selected parcels, and a procedure to refer to a result of the detection, and cause the holding portion to take out one or more parcels from the accumulation portion in accordance with the priority to transport the parcels to a predetermined location, and excludes, from parcels to be taken out, a second parcel that is present within a predetermined distance from a first parcel and has priority lower than the priority of the first parcel, during the one cycle.

System for Automatic Filling of Medication Organizers
