Fixation base and guides for dental prosthesis installation
Apparatus and method for installing a multi-tooth dental prosthesis in one session are shown and described. A first tool attaches to the jawbone, and serves as a foundation for subsequently used guides. Existing teeth and dental fixtures are removed, and the bone tissue is removed to accommodate the prosthesis. Subsequently, a drill guide is used to drill implant holes. An abutment guide is then used to place abutments. Copings are then installed. Next, the prosthesis may be installed and cemented to the copings. A resinous filler material may be applied to fill gaps and holes in and between the copings and the prosthesis, and is sanded smooth. The first tool, the guides, and the prosthesis are predesigned and prefabricated based on images taken of the patient anatomy.

DENTAL COATING COMPOSITION
Dental coating compositions that have one or more of excellent properties including plaque resistance, microbial plaque resistance, strong adhesion, excellent hardness, high wear resistance, and high color resistance are provided. Dental appliance or natural tooth covered by the dental coating compositions, and production methods of the dental coating compositions are also provided. The coating compositions include one or more of a trifunctional or higher multifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer, an inorganic filler, a photoinitiator, and an organic solvent. The coating compositions are substantially free from antibacterial chemical additives.
Ridge Care
The disclosed denture and gum material will allow patients to function in chewing and speech with confidence. The Ridge Care will provide a more comfortable fitting denture with better suction. It will allow for a more natural feel, and better shock absorption when chewing as well as, looking more natural. The disclosure includes a palatal denture defining multiple lingual retention holes adjacent a patient's gums designed to enable a better suction of the denture against an inside lingual surface of the patient's mouth via a transfer of pressure there across. The disclosure additionally includes an impression formed hard material liner formed to a gum contour of the patient's gums and configured to sit against the palatal denture and the lower denture. The disclosure further includes a soft material liner disposed on the hard material liner, the soft material liner configured to sit against the patient's palatal gums and lower gums.
ORAL DEVICE, MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A custom oral device is provided that fits on the maxillary or mandibular arch of a wearer. The oral device comprises a tray that corresponds with the shape and size of a wearer's oral anatomy. A soft liner is disposed within an occlusal channel of the tray having an upper surface that comprises an impression having features that correspond to at least a portion of the wearer's dentition and in which the wearer's teeth align. An apparatus and a method for making the custom oral device are provided.
REFERENCE DENTURE ALIGNMENT JIG, KIT FOR PREPARING DENTURES, AND METHOD FOR PREPARING DENTURES USING SAME
Provided is a reference denture alignment jig which guides reference dentures into an oral cavity or to an articulator in which upper and lower edentulous jaw models are fixed, and aligns the reference dentures in the oral cavity or in the articulator in which upper and lower edentulous jaw models are fixed, the jig having a reference denture holding portion for holding reference dentures.
DENTAL IMPLANT
A multi-component dental implant system designed to improve oral hygiene. The dental implant system may comprise an implant body configured to be insertable into at least a portion of an individual's mouth, a primary or first abutment, a dental prosthesis engagement member, and a housing assembly. In use, the first abutment is designed to engage with and secure to the dental prosthesis engagement member. The housing is configured to secure to or cover the dental prosthesis engagement member. The dental implant system allows an individual to remove one or more components without the aid of any special tools or instruments.
Overdenture and Dental Implant Framework
A dental prosthesis and a process for design and manufacturing, incorporating an overdenture and a dental implant framework that will be designed and manufactured simultaneously.
PROSTHETIC TOOTH FOR A DENTURE AND DENTURE CONTAINING SAME
A prosthetic tooth includes an artificial tooth body and a liner at least partly coupled to the tooth body. The liner includes an elastically deformable material that will at least allow the tooth body to move from an unloaded position under a load, and cause the tooth body to move back towards the unloaded position when the load is reduced. Dentures (full and partial) containing one or more of the described prosthetic teeth, and associated methods of making a prosthetic tooth and a denture are also disclosed.
Method for determining relative arrangement of patient's jaws
Disclosed is a method for scanning an edentulous patent who has a denture, where an impression material arranged at the gum-facing surfaces of the dentures is shaped by the patient's gums and both the teeth side and the gum-facing surface of the denture is scanned and the obtained digital 3D representations are used to determine the relative arrangement of the patient's edentulous jaws in a bite determined by the dentures.
