MEDIUM PROCESSING DEVICE AND MEDIUM TRANSACTION DEVICE
A medium processing device including a storage cassette, a casing, a loading section, a slide rail, and a connector is provided. The storage cassette is configured to store a medium. The casing includes an internal space to house the storage cassette inside. The loading section supports the storage cassette when the storage cassette is in a loaded state in a loading space having an open bottom section. The slide rail is attached to the casing and to the loading section, and lets the loading section move between the internal space of the casing and outside. The connector is provided inside the loading space of the loading section, and electrically connects to the storage cassette in a loaded state of the storage cassette in the loading space.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM, AND SHEET PROCESSING METHOD
There is provided a sheet processing apparatus including a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet, a creasing unit configured to form a first crease and a second crease different from the first crease on the sheet, and a detection unit configured to detect a direction of the first crease. When a second crease is to be formed after the formation of the first crease by the creasing unit, a direction of the second crease with respect to a widthwise direction of the sheet is controlled based on a detection result of the detection unit.
STACKING APPARATUS, FEEDING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A stacking apparatus, comprising a first stacking unit, for stacking sheets of a first size, configured to move vertically between an upper limit position and a lower limit position, and a second stacking unit for stacking sheets of a second size larger than the first size in cooperation with the first stacking unit, the second stacking unit being jointed to the first stacking unit at a predetermined position, moving vertically together with the first stacking unit while being jointed to the first stacking unit above the predetermined position, and being released from a joint to the first stacking unit below the predetermined position.
Sheet feeding device and image forming apparatus incorporating the sheet feeding device
A sheet feeding device, which is included in an image forming apparatus, includes a sheet container to accommodate a recording medium, a sheet feeding body to press a surface of the recording medium in the sheet container and feed the recording medium in a sheet conveying direction, a pair of sheet position regulators to regulate a position of the recording medium in a sheet width direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction, and a load applier to contact the surface of the recording medium and apply a load to the recording medium at the surface. The recording medium is brought to move toward one of the pair of sheet position regulators while the recording medium is being fed. A lower face position in a standby state of the sheet feeding body is lower than a lower face position in a standby state of the load applier.

SHEET FEEDING DEVICE CAPABLE OF USING LONG SHEETS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING SHEET FEEDING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet feeding device capable of improving user's convenience even in a case where non-long sheets and long sheets are switchingly used. A sheet storage opened and closed for storing sheets to be used for image formation. A deck supply path feeds sheets from the sheet storage. A first and a second lift plate are provided in the sheet storage, side by side, in a sheet feeding direction. The first and second lift plates can be lifted up and down by a lift mechanism. A CPU determines whether or not an operation concerning storing long sheets in the sheet storage has been performed. When it is determined that the operation has been performed, the CPU controls the lift mechanism to cause the levels of the first and second lift plates to match each other.
APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATICALLY UNSTACKING A PALLET ON WHICH AT LEAST TWO STACKS OF BLANKS ARE ARRANGED
Apparatus for automatically unstacking a pallet on which at least two stacks of blanks are arranged. The apparatus comprises an unstacking station which is configured for receiving a pallet on which are arranged at least two stacks of blanks in collapsed condition. The unstacking station is further configured for taking off one by one individual blanks from the at least two stacks of blanks which are on a pallet received in the unstacking station. The apparatus further includes a feed track for conveying pallets. The feed track links up by a discharge end with the unstacking station for the purpose of feeding a pallet with stacks of blanks to be unstacked to the unstacking station. Further, the apparatus includes a blank main discharge assembly for discharging individual blanks to a further processing station.
Image recording device
A first feeder contacts a first surface of a first sheet held in a first tray and feeds the first sheet toward a recording unit. A second feeder contacts a first surface of a second sheet held in a second tray and feeds the second sheet toward the recording unit. An inner member is disposed above a standing plate. An outer member comprises an upstream portion opposing the standing plate, and a downstream portion opposing the inner member. The inner member guides the first surface of the first sheet and the first surface of the second sheet. The standing plate guides the first surface of the second sheet. The upstream portion of the outer member guides a second surface of the second sheet, and the downstream portion guides a second surface of the first sheet and the second surface of the second sheet. The standing plate moves relative to the outer member.

Sheet stacking device and image forming apparatus including the same
In a sheet stacking device, a first sheet storage portion and a second sheet storage portion are arranged in alignment in a width direction of a housing, and supported by the housing so as to move in a front-rear direction perpendicular to the width direction. Biasing members are respectively provided on opposite side surfaces of the first and second sheet storage portions, the opposite side surfaces being adjacent and face each other in the width direction. In a first state where the first and second sheet storage portions are moved frontward from the housing, the biasing members abut on each other and bias the first and second sheet storage portions in directions in which the first and second sheet storage portions separate from each other along the width direction.
