Method for producing a dental prosthesis
A method of producing a dental prosthesis produced from a gum part, and prosthetic teeth arranged on the gum part and connected to the gum part. The surface of the dental prosthesis is surface-treated, the surface treatment of the dental prosthesis involving a solvent, and the solvent containing at least one chlorohydrocarbon and at least one methane nitroderivative.
SYSTEM FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF A DENTAL PROSTHESIS
A dental prosthesis is provided, manufactured from a monobloc or multibloc prosthesis blank (10), which is composed of a gum-colored material (14) and a tooth-colored material (12), which materials (12, 14) are bonded to each other by bonding, polymerization and/or one-piece manufacture. The boundary surface (16) between the materials is wave-shaped comprising alternating grooves (22) and ribs (24) in the course of the dental arch, and radial in an oral-vestibular direction in the region of the anterior teeth (33) to be created. The boundary surface (16), at least in the region of the molars (26)—again as viewed in the oral vestibular direction—has parallel grooves (22) and ribs (24) forming troughs and crests of the waveform, or grooves (22) and ribs (24) such that they extend in deviation from parallel by at most 10 degrees, in particular at most 5 degrees, at least in the region of the molars (26).
CURABLE COMPOSITION AND STEREOLITHOGRAPHIC RESIN COMPOSITION COMPRISING SAME
To provide a curable composition that is readily modeled with low viscosity and excellent curing capability in modeling by stereolithography, and provides a cured article excellent in toughness and water resistance, and a resin composition for stereolithography prepared therefrom. To provide a resin composition for stereolithography that is favorable particularly for a dental mouthpiece and a denture base material. A curable composition containing 79.0 to 99.0% by mass of a polymerizable monomer (a), 0.1 to 10.0% by mass of a photopolymerization initiator (b), and 0.01 to 20.0% by mass of a compound represented by the following general formula (I) as a polyfunctional polymerizable compound (c):

wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently represent at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, an aryl group, and an aralkyl group; R.sup.3 represents at least one kind of a polymerizable functional group selected from the group consisting of a (meth)acryloyl group, a 4-vinylphenyl group, and an alkenyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms; and n represents an arbitrary integer of 0 to 5.
ADJUSTING A POSITION OF ARTIFICIAL TEETH OF A DENTURE
The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for adjusting a position of artificial teeth of a denture. A digital 3D model of the denture comprising at least a denture part is provided. The denture part is configured for a jaw of a patient and comprises a dental arch with a plurality of artificial teeth arranged in an artificial gingiva. A deformable gingiva section of the artificial gingiva is defined between the teeth of the plurality of artificial teeth and a fixed gingiva section of the artificial gingiva with a fixed geometrical form. The dental arch is moved as a whole relative to the fixed gingiva section in order to adjust the position of the dental arch. A geometrical form of the deformable gingiva section is deformed due to the moving of the dental arch, whereas the fixed gingiva section maintains the fixed geometrical form.

Denture base and dental prosthesis
The invention relates to a denture base having a plurality of tooth socket compartments where one or more of the tooth socket compartments comprises a convex surface configured in step-like structure, and one or more prominences on the step-like structure. The invention further relates to a dental prosthesis including the denture base, at least one bonding agent, and a plurality of artificial teeth. Artificial teeth are bonded within tooth socket compartments such that each artificial tooth can rest upon the top of each prominence in the tooth socket compartment, maintaining a predetermined amount of bonding agent between the artificial tooth and the denture base. The denture base and dental prosthesis of the invention can better address the need for easier, more efficient and reliable set-up of artificial teeth in a denture base, and ensuring more consistent and predictable bonding of artificial teeth in a denture base.
