A sheet conveying device includes a sheet container, an air blower, and a guide. The sheet container is configured to store a plurality of sheets. The air blower is configured to blow air to the plurality of sheets to separate a single sheet from subsequent sheets of the plurality of sheets. The guide is configured to contact a surface of the single sheet separated from the subsequent sheets of the plurality of sheets over a given region downstream from any position of an upstream region in a sheet conveyance direction to guide the single sheet. The upstream region is from an upstream end to a center of the single sheet in the sheet conveyance direction.

The guide adheres to the holder and the separation roller is replaceable on the holder that has been removed from the sheet feeding apparatus.

Examples include a sheet transport apparatus comprising a sheet inlet facing a specific side of the apparatus. The sheet transport apparatus also comprises a sheet outlet facing the specific side of the apparatus and located below the sheet inlet, the sheet outlet comprising a ceiling between the sheet outlet and the sheet inlet. The sheet transport apparatus further comprises a sheet driving mechanism configured for driving a sheet of media on a media path from the sheet inlet to the sheet outlet, and a flexible and resilient device connected to the ceiling and partially obstructing the sheet outlet.

Disclosed are a cash box and a banknote processing device using the same. The cash box includes: a guiding plate, configured to guide a banknote to enter a banknote storage chamber; a pickup roller, configured to output the banknote; and a sensor, configured to detect a position of the guiding plate and a position of the pickup roller. When the guiding plate is in a banknote feeding position or the pickup roller is in a banknote pickup position, the sensor outputs a first signal. When the guiding plate deviates from the banknote feeding position and the pickup roller deviates from the banknote pickup position, the sensor outputs a second signal, wherein the first signal is different from the second signal.

In addition, the image forming apparatus has a conveying guide which guides the sheet picked up by the pickup roller to the separation nip. A first guide member of the conveying guide is configured to be slidable in a drawing direction when the feed roller is replaced, and the conveying guide is formed of a material whose property of light transmittance of light having a wavelength of 360 nm to 420 nm is 80% or more. The feed roller is detachable from the one end of a shaft in a state in which the cassette is drawn out along the rail and the conveying guide is slid in the drawing direction.
