Motor control apparatus, sheet conveyance apparatus, and image forming apparatus
To control a winding drive current of a motor based on a command phase representing a target phase of a rotor of the motor, a motor control apparatus includes a filter circuit, a phase determiner, and a controller. A current value of the drive current flowing through the winding is obtained at a predetermined period. The filter circuit reduces a harmonic component in a fundamental frequency of the drive current included in a signal indicated by the obtained current value. The phase determiner determines a rotation phase of the rotor based on a filter processed signal. The controller controls the winding drive current to reduce a deviation between the command phase and the determined rotation phase. The filter circuit reduces a harmonic component from a signal indicated by current values of which a number is not greater than a number of the current values obtained at the predetermined period.

High speed automated feeding system and methods of using the same
Disclosed is an automated insert feeding system and related methods, capable of removing bulk-packaged items from a tray or other package, and separating the bulk-packaged items individually for distribution into individual packages in high speed reliable fashion. The disclosed systems can also be loaded with multiple packages of the pre-packaged items for automatic feeding into the system which allows human operators to load several packages and allow the system to work unattended, thereby reducing man-hours spend on the process.
Mail processing system and method with increased processing speed
A mail singulator system determines a position of an optical panel to automatically adjust a loading conveyor speed to prevent stacked and overlapped mailpieces in the singulator and large gaps between mailpieces. The optical panel is configured between the front mailpiece of a mail stack on the loading conveyor and the optical sensor. The optical panel changes position with the pressure exerted by the mail stack and provides signals to the controller to adjust the conveyor speed. An optical sensor may detect a far threshold position or limit distance to increase the speed of the conveyor and may detect a near threshold position of limit distance to reduce the speed of the conveyor. The optical panel may have a low friction surface to allow the mail to slide into the conveyor and an optical surface to allow reliable optical sensor detection of the optical panel position.
Double-endless-belt conveyor, turnover module incorporating such a conveyor and folding package production line incorporating such a module
The conveyor comprises two single-transport-belt conveyor subassemblies (42AL, 42AH) arranged facing each other symmetrically relative to a pinching plane of the conveyor (42A), two sets of rollers (423L, 423H) incorporated in the two conveyor subassemblies and distributed on either side of the pinching plane. A first set of rollers (423L) guides a belt (420AL) of the first conveyor subassembly and a second set of rollers (423H) guides a belt (420AH) of the second conveyor subassembly. The conveyor subassemblies comprise sets of vertically arranged jacks (424L, 424H) which are associated with the sets of rollers, each of the rollers being mounted on a dedicated respective jack.
Multichannel feeding system
A multichannel paper feeding system in connection to a vertical storage is disclosed. The multichannel paper feeding system includes a main loop transport device, an internal loop transport device, a plurality of take-out devices, and a plurality of take-out conveyor belts, all of which are disposed between the vertical storage and a cutting machine. The main loop transport device transports a paper roll placed on a main loop rack from the vertical storage to the internal loop transport device, where a main push rod then pushes the paper roll onto an internal loop rack, and the internal loop transport device transports the internal loop rack next to a take-out conveyor belt. The take-out device moves the paper roll from the internal loop rack to the corresponding take-out conveyor belt so that the paper roll can be transported further downstream to a post-processing station for cutting or packaging. Through the internal loop transport device, not only can more take-out conveyor belts be added and may the post-processing production be increased, the transport quality of the paper rolls is also enhanced.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes: a belt unit including a transfer belt and a first memory that stores a first sheet conveying speed of the transfer belt; a second memory storing a first reference value and a second sheet conveying speed of the fixing unit a controller configured to: control at least one of the belt motor and the fixing motor to bring the speed difference between the sheet conveying speed of the transfer belt and the sheet conveying speed of the fixing unit closer to the first reference value by setting a rotational speed of the fixing motor based on the first reference value and a first speed difference between the first sheet conveying speed read from the first memory and the second sheet conveying speed read from the second memory.
TRANSFER TRANSPORTING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A transfer transporting device includes multiple rollers, an endless belt, a pair of support members, and a pair of unloading members. The rollers include a driving roller and a driven roller. The driving roller is disposed closer to an image carrier that has a toner image formed thereon and that holds the toner image. The driven roller is disposed apart from the driving roller downstream in a sheet transport direction. The endless belt is wound around the rollers. The pair of support members each have an outer wall surface facing a side end surface of the belt. The pair of support members are disposed on both sides of the belt to rotatably support a rotation shaft protruding from side end surfaces of the driving roller. The pair of unloading members are interposed between the outer wall surfaces of the pair of support members and the side end surfaces of the driving roller. The pair of unloading members each reduce, while being in contact with a corresponding one of the side end surfaces of the belt, a driving load on the driving roller further than in a case where the side end surfaces of the belt come into direct contact with the outer wall surfaces. The image carrier and the belt hold therebetween a sheet transported thereto to transfer the toner image on the image carrier to the sheet, and transport the sheet downstream.
