TRANSPORT DEVICE AND RECORDING DEVICE
A transport device includes a transporting belt having a support face configured to support a medium and configured to transport the medium, a device main body in which the transporting belt is provided, and a cleaning unit configured to clean the support face with a liquid. The cleaning unit includes a storage unit in which the liquid is stored, a flow path member through which the liquid discharged from the storage unit and returned to the storage unit passes, and a filter unit detachably provided to the flow path member. Here, the filter unit is configured to be pulled out in a direction away from the device main body.
Sheet storage device and sheet processing apparatus
A sheet storage device includes a reel around which a tape is wound, a drum onto which a sheet is wound together with the tape, an input and output opening through which the sheet is passed, and a frame that forms at least a portion of a transport path on which the sheet is transported from the input and output opening to the drum, the frame has a first and a second frame part, the first and second frame parts move relative to each other to switch between a state in which the transport path is formed and a state in which at least a portion of the transport path is open, the first frame part supports the reel, and forms a tape path extending from the reel to the drum, the first frame part moves together with the reel and the tape path relative to the second frame part.
Machine for the production of a component for an aerosol generating article
The present invention relates to a machine for the production of a component for an aerosol generating article, the machine including: —a buffer station, the buffer station including: # fixed sheet guides; # movable sheet guides which are movable in a reciprocating manner in a direction towards the fixed sheet guides and in a direction away from the sheet fixed guides; # an actuator for moving the movable sheet guides, wherein the fixed and movable sheet guides together define a zig-zag trajectory for the sheet having a variable length for varying the total length of the sheet of material in the buffer station; # supports for the sheet, the supports being arranged so that, when the movable sheet guides are moved towards the fixed sheet guides, at least one of the movable sheets guides is interposed between two different supports of the plurality; # an air system; # wherein the each of the supports defines an outer surface, at least one of the outer surfaces having a first portion in which a sucking action is exerted by the air system to attract the sheet towards the outer surface and a second portion in which a blowing action is exerted by the air system to push the sheet away from the outer surface.
Sheet conveying apparatus
To provide a configuration for allowing a user to easily take out a sheet stopped on a conveying belt. Regulating guides are disposed on both sides of a conveying belt in a sheet width direction Y and can guide both end edges in the sheet width direction of a sheet S being conveyed while being nipped by the conveying belt and the balls. A take-out port is provided on a side close to the regulating guide in the sheet width direction and serves as an opening for taking out the sheet stopped on the conveying belt. The regulating guide on a side away from the take-out port moves in the sheet width direction Y toward the take-out port when the sheet is stopped on the conveying belt.
SHEET TRANSPORT DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet transport device includes: a chain that circulates and moves; a driving unit that circulates and moves the chain; a holding unit that is provided on the chain and holds an end portion of a sheet along a transport direction of the sheet; and a first positioning portion that positions the holding unit on both sides along a direction intersecting both the transport direction of the sheet and a width direction of the sheet while the chain moves along the driving unit.
HIGH SPEED AUTOMATED FEEDING SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Disclosed is an automated insert feeding system and related methods, capable of removing bulk-packaged items from a tray or other package, and separating the bulk-packaged items individually for distribution into individual packages in high speed reliable fashion. The disclosed systems can also be loaded with multiple packages of the pre-packaged items for automatic feeding into the system which allows human operators to load several packages and allow the system to work unattended, thereby reducing man-hours spend on the process.
Sheet conveying apparatus
A pair of regulating guides can guide both end edges in a sheet width direction Y of a sheet being conveyed being nipped by a conveying belt and balls. The pair of regulating guides can move to their respective guide positions each for guiding one of both end edges of the sheet and their respective retracting positions each retracting from one of the both end edges of the sheet by a distance larger than the guide position. A guide moving unit for moving the pair of regulating guides makes each of the pair of regulating guides reach the guide position from the retracting position after the rear end of the sheet passed from a conveying roller pair positioned on the upstream side to the conveying belt passes the conveying roller pair.
Sheet detection circuit using electrical elements contacting conductive vacuum belt
Devices include electrically conductive elements contacting a vacuum belt, and a voltage source connected to the electrically conductive elements. The electrically conductive elements form an electrical circuit from the voltage source, through the belt, and back to the voltage source. The electrically conductive elements are positioned so that they are separated from the belt when the belt moves the sheets of media between the electrically conductive elements and the belt. A processor is capable of identifying leading edges of the sheets of media on the belt (when voltage of the electrical circuit changes from a relatively higher voltage to a relatively lower voltage) and identifying trailing edges of the sheets of media on the belt (when the voltage of the electrical circuit changes from the relatively lower voltage back to the relatively higher voltage).
MAIL PROCESSING SYSTEM WITH INCREASED FIRST AND SECOND PASS SORTING SPEED
A mail processing system utilizes a conveyor to shingle or de-shingle mailpieces as they move through the processing system and utilizes belts to move the mailpieces. A first shingling conveyor moves a first mailpiece to overlap with a second mailpiece to create shingled mailpieces. A second shingling conveyor moves a first mailpiece away from a second mailpiece to de-shingle them to create singulated mailpieces. A camera takes images of the mailpieces in the conveyor and image analysis software is used to determine dimensional aspects of the mailpieces that are used to control the belt speeds to move mailpieces with respect to each other. A mail processing system may include a mail processing station that scans addresses, applies postage and/or weighs the mailpieces. Mail may be de-shingled prior to being weighed and then re-shingled for subsequent processing, or mail may be shingled prior to passing through a scale if weighing is not necessary.
