Personnel saving of a process from a printer to a sheet processing machine is achieved. A general printing management device is connected to be communicable with a conveyance management device that manages a plurality of automatic guided vehicles each conveying a stacker in which paper ejected from a printer is stackable. The general printing management device generates conveyance instruction information for conveying a stacker in which paper ejected from the printer is stacked from a sheet receiving position of the printer to a sheet supply position of a next processing machine, based on job information in which a manufacturing process procedure for manufacturing a printed product is registered, and transmits the conveyance instruction information to the conveyance management device.

Sheet feeding device and image forming apparatus incorporating the same

A sheet feeding device includes a sheet feed tray, a conveying roller pair, and a contact-and-separation mechanism. The sheet feed tray is detachably attached to a body of an image forming apparatus. The conveying roller pair is disposed in the body of the image forming apparatus, conveys a sheet fed from the sheet feed tray attached to the body of the image forming apparatus, and includes a driving roller and a driven roller. The driving roller is rotated by a drive mechanism. The driven roller is rotated by the driving roller. The contact-and-separation mechanism separates the driven roller from the driving roller in conjunction with detachment of the sheet feed tray from the body of the image forming apparatus and brings the driven roller into contact with the driving roller by the drive mechanism when the sheet feed tray is detached from the body of the image forming apparatus.

A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid discharge head, a stage, a guide rail, and an opening-and-closing cover. The liquid discharge head discharges a liquid to a recording medium. The stage moves in a vertical direction to move the recording medium on the stage. The guide rail holds the stage. The stage is movable in a conveyance direction intersecting the vertical direction. The opening-and-closing cover is slidable in one of the conveyance direction and a main scanning direction intersecting both the conveyance direction and the vertical direction. The opening-and-closing cover includes a retraction portion retractable above the stage.

Recording device

A recording device includes a medium receiving tray that receives a medium ejected by an ejection roller, the medium receiving tray being capable of taking a first state and a second state displaced from the first state in an ejection direction, a power transmission section that can take a power transmission state in which power of the motor is transmitted to the medium receiving tray and a power non-transmission state in which the power of the motor is not transmitted, the power transmission section including a friction gear as a power transmission path member, a switching lever section that moves the carriage to switch the power transmission section between the power non-transmission state and the power transmission state, and a holding portion that holds a position of the switching lever section.

Transport device

To downsize a curved transport route through which a transport target is transported without being deformed. A transport path 401 includes a first curved transport tubular-body unit 415B having a first curved shape in which a bottom surface 411B located beside an air blowing tube 100 bulges into a convex shape toward the air blowing tube. The first curved transport tubular-body unit is configured to increase a distance H between the bottom surface and a top surface 413B opposite to the bottom surface from each end portion toward an intermediate portion in a transport direction x to prevent a banknote P retained by a transport body 500 from coming into contact with the top surface.

Dual-use automatic document feeder

A dual-use automatic document feeder includes a tilted feeding path, a horizontal feeding path, a U-turn feeding path, an upper scanning unit and a movable document guider. The horizontal feeding path includes a front opening and a rear opening. The U-turn feeding path is connected between the tilted feeding path and the horizontal feeding path. The upper scanning unit is positioned between the front opening and the rear opening. The movable document guider is positioned at a junction between the U-turn feeding path and the horizontal feeding path. The movable document guider has a pivot end pivotally connected to the U-turn feeding path, a guiding arm slantwise extended downward and rearward from the pivot end to the horizontal feeding path, a blocking end positioned at a terminal end of the guiding arm, and an actuating end positioned at a terminal end of the blocking end.
