MEDIUM SUPPLY DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A medium supply device includes: a stacking unit in which media are stackable in a vertical direction; a first regulating unit that is provided on the stacking unit and that regulates positions of side portions of the media in a width direction; a supply unit that supplies air to more than one of the media stacked on the stacking unit so that the more than one of the media are raised and separated from each other; a transport unit that successively feeds the media that are raised and separated from each other by the supply unit; a detection unit that detects conditions of the media that are raised and separated from each other by the supply unit from outside in the width direction; a second regulating unit that is attached to an upper section of the stacking unit when the media stacked in the stacking unit are second media and that regulates positions of side portions of the second media in the width direction, the second media having a smaller dimension than first media in the width direction; and a moving unit that moves the detection unit to an area in which the second media are detectable when the second regulating unit is attached.
FEEDING DEVICE, TRANSPORTING DEVICE, AND PROCESSING SYSTEM
A feeding device includes: a loading portion that is disposed on a downstream side of a transporting path in a transporting direction and that loads a transporting target, which is transported through the transporting path, on a loading surface inclined with respect to a horizontal direction; and a feeding unit that feeds the transporting target, which is in contact with the loading surface, obliquely upward along the loading surface.
Transport device
A transport device transports an individualized sheet-shaped workpiece. The transport device includes: an annular transport belt having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface and having a plurality of suction holes extending between the first surface and the second surface; first and second decompression chambers arranged along a moving direction of the transport belt; and a vacuum degree adjusting mechanism provided in the first decompression chamber and adjusting a vacuum degree in the first decompression chamber. The first and second decompression chambers each abut against the second surface, and each suction the workpiece through at least one of the plurality of suction holes toward the first surface such that the transport belt is capable of transporting the workpiece in the moving direction in a suspended state from the first surface.
SHEET CONVEYANCE APPARATUS
An endless conveyer belt is stretched between drive and idle rollers. A carriage is arranged so as to reciprocate along the endless conveyer belt. A suction box is arranged between upper and lower belt portions of the endless conveyer belt and fixed to the carriage. A stopper plate is fixed to the carriage and extends across a conveyer surface and upward from the conveyer surface. A conveyance roller pair is arranged at the upstream end of the conveyer surface. A region of the conveyer surface from a stopper plate to the upstream end u forms a sheet accumulation area. A cover sheet covers a region upstream of the suction box in the sheet accumulation area. The cover sheet is subjected to tension in the longitudinal direction by a winding-type constant force plate spring and continually tensed spaced apart from the endless conveyer belt.
BELT CONVEYOR DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A plurality of support rollers rotatably support a belt member. A first motor and a second motor each rotate one of the plurality of support rollers. In a normal mode, a normal control portion derives a load index value based on information on a load torque of the plurality of support rollers, and controls a second supply power supplied to the second motor based on power control data representing a correspondence between the load index value and a motor supply power. In a calibration mode, a calibration control portion corrects the power control data by comparing a speed detection value when a test drive control is being executed or a test actual value which is a power supplied to the second motor with a reference value.
BELT CONVEYOR DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A plurality of support rollers support a conveyor belt. A first transmission mechanism transmits a rotational force of a first motor to one of the plurality of support rollers. A second transmission mechanism transmits a rotational force of a second motor to one of the plurality of support rollers. A first control portion controls a first supply power supplied to the first motor in accordance with a difference between a speed detection value and a target speed. A second control portion controls a second supply power supplied to the second motor in accordance with one or both of conveyance information on a conveyance state of an object in a specific area and suction force information on a suction force of a suction fan. The second transmission mechanism transmits the rotational force at a greater reduction ratio than the first transmission mechanism.
Sheet suction device, sheet conveyor, printer, and suction area switching device
A sheet suction device includes a sheet bearer having a plurality of suction holes, a suction unit, a first member, and a second member. The first member has grooves arranged in a radial direction, and each of the grooves extends in a circumferential direction. The second member has a plurality of hole rows including a plurality of holes. The plurality of holes in each of the plurality of hole rows is arranged in the circumferential direction, and the plurality of hole rows is arranged in the radial direction. When the first member rotates with respect to the second member, the number of holes communicating with the grooves is changed to change the number of the plurality of suction holes communicating with the suction unit. The plurality of holes includes two or more holes that simultaneously communicate with the suction unit when the first member rotates by a unit rotation amount.
CARDBOARD CONVEYOR DEVICE, CARDBOARD CONVEYING METHOD AND PLATE BODY STRUCTURE
A cardboard conveyor device forms sub negative pressure regions communicative to a main negative pressure region by using wind shield structures of a plate body structure, thus saving power consumption of an aspirator. The plate body structure is for example formed by three plate bodies, the plate body of a middle layer has air holes, the plate body of an upper layer has first interval spaces penetrating the plate body of the upper layer, and the plate body of a lower layer has second interval spaces penetrating the plate body of the lower layer. Each of the first interval spaces is communicative to the corresponding second interval space via the corresponding air holes, and the second interval spaces are communicative to the main negative pressure region. Thus, the sub negative pressure regions can provide a negative pressure to the cardboard being conveyed.
