Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a first feeding portion including a first cassette and a first feed roller; and a second feeding portion including a second cassette and a second feed roller and disposed below the first feeding portion. The sheet fed by the second feed roller is conveyed toward an image forming portion through an intermediate path provided in the first cassette. The image forming apparatus further includes a controller to operate a display unit to display information that inhibits drawing of the first cassette, in a case where a first detection portion detects that the first cassette is empty and where the second feeding portion is performing a sheet feeding operation, with the first cassette being drawable from the apparatus body whether the second feeding portion is performing a sheet operation or not.
PAPER SHEET STORAGE UNIT AND PAPER SHEET PROCESSING DEVICE
Provided is a circulation-type paper sheet storage unit equipped with circulation units in a casing, enabling to swiftly take measures and perform recovery processing on the user side when the circulation unit malfunctions. The paper sheet storage unit includes circulation units (100 and 200) that are accommodated in a casing 60 to receive paper sheets transported into the casing by operating upon reception of a drive force from a motor and feed paper sheets stored therein to outside of the casing. The casing includes guide members 620 that serve as a guide at the time of attaching or detaching the circulation unit with respect to the casing, and the circulation unit includes guided members (655A, 675A, 655B, and 675B) which respectively detachably engage with the guide member, and are guided to an installation completion position along the guide members in an engaged state.
Medium conveyance device
A medium conveyance device includes a drive roller that conveys an original in first direction, a guide in which a first surface and a second surface are formed, a slider in which a first point and a second point are formed, a pinch roller that is rotatably supported by a pinch shaft that is fixed to the slider and that pushes the original against the drive roller, and a sensor that measures a thickness of the original based on an amount of move of the slider in a second direction that is different from the first direction, wherein the first point slides on the first surface and the second point slides on the second surface and accordingly the slider is supported on the guide movably in the second direction, and a distance between the first point and the second point is longer than a diameter of the pinch shaft.
DOCUMENT CONVEYANCE APPARATUS
A document conveyance apparatus includes a first conveyance path, a first image reading part, a second conveyance path, a third conveyance path and a branch guide. The first conveyance path extends linearly. The first image reading part reads an image on one face of the document conveyed along the first conveyance path. The second conveyance path branches from the first conveyance path at a branch point on a downstream side of the first reading part in a conveyance direction of the document and is formed to be curved. The third conveyance path branches from the first conveyance path at the branch point and extends linearly in a same extending direction as an extending direction of the first conveyance path. The branch guide is provided at the branch point and guides the document to the second conveyance path or to the third conveyance path.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus including a recording head that performs recording, a feed roller that feeds out a set medium, a transport driving roller that transports the medium, which is fed out by the feed roller, towards an opposing position that opposes the recording head, and an auxiliary roller provided between the feed roller and the transport driving roller, the auxiliary roller assisting transportation of the medium. When the apparatus is seen from a side of the apparatus, the auxiliary roller overlaps the feed roller in a height direction of the apparatus.
RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device includes a first transportation path along which a medium is transported, a recording unit configured to record on the medium on the first transportation path, a second transportation path branching from the first transportation path, a flap located at the junction and configured to be moved to a first position to open the first transportation path and to a second position to close the first transportation path, and a driving section. After the medium passes the junction, the flap is positioned at the second position to come in contact with the medium traveling upstream along the first transportation path and guide the medium to the second transportation path. The flap is moved to the first position by a driving force of the driving section.

A recording material conveyance apparatus includes a hardware processor and a measurement section. The hardware processor is capable of performing switching control of, in response to, among a plurality of recording material housing sections that house recording materials, a first recording material housing section becoming out of recording material while a recording material fed from the first recording material housing section is being conveyed, selecting a second recording material housing section to cause a recording material housed in the second recording material housing section to be conveyed. In the switching control, the hardware processor selects the second recording material housing section based on a measured physical property value of each of the recording materials of the recording material housing section The measurement section measures the physical property value of each of the recording materials of the recording material housing section. The physical property value corresponds to a physical property.

A recording material conveyance apparatus includes a hardware processor and a measurement section. The hardware processor is capable of performing switching control of, in response to, among a plurality of recording material housing sections that house recording materials, a first recording material housing section becoming out of recording material while a recording material fed from the first recording material housing section is being conveyed, selecting a second recording material housing section to cause a recording material housed in the second recording material housing section to be conveyed. In the switching control, the hardware processor selects the second recording material housing section based on a measured physical property value of each of the recording materials of the recording material housing section The measurement section measures the physical property value of each of the recording materials of the recording material housing section. The physical property value corresponds to a physical property.
Ink-jet recording apparatus
There is provided an ink-jet recording apparatus including: a first transporting portion provided in a first transport path; a support member configured to support the sheet; a recording portion; a plurality of contact portions configured to come into contact with the sheet; a plurality of support ribs; a second transporting portion provided in a second transport path connected with the first transport path; and a third transporting portion configured to sandwich and transport the sheet in the first transporting direction or toward the second transport path. On the upstream side to the second transporting portion in the second transporting direction, a projecting portion is formed with the upper guide member to project toward the lower guide member below a virtual line linking a nip position of the sheet due to the third transporting portion with another nip position of the sheet due to the second transporting portion.
Ink-jet recording apparatus
There is provided an ink-jet recording apparatus including: a first transporting portion provided in a first transport path; a support member configured to support the sheet; a recording portion; a plurality of contact portions configured to come into contact with the sheet; a plurality of support ribs; a second transporting portion provided in a second transport path connected with the first transport path; and a third transporting portion configured to sandwich and transport the sheet in the first transporting direction or toward the second transport path. On the upstream side to the second transporting portion in the second transporting direction, a projecting portion is formed with the upper guide member to project toward the lower guide member below a virtual line linking a nip position of the sheet due to the third transporting portion with another nip position of the sheet due to the second transporting portion.
