Method for producing a prosthesis or partial prosthesis
A method for generating a prosthesis or partial prosthesis based on digital data using a plurality of teeth (10) and a prosthesis base (12) to be manufactured, characterized in that the generatively or subtractively generated teeth (10) and/or the generatively or subtractively generated prosthesis base (12) are manufactured having oversize, apart from regions of the teeth (10) and the prosthesis base (12) on which the teeth (10) and the prosthesis base (12) abut against each another and/or are joined or connected to each other, and in that the teeth (10) and/or the prosthesis base (12) are subsequently brought to the desired original dimension, in particular milled, with at least partial removal of the oversize (30, 32).
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DENTURE BY USING JIG
The present inventive concept relates to a method of manufacturing dentures by using a jig, the method including: planting false teeth in a soft jig to expose roots of the false teeth to outside of the soft jig; inserting the soft jig into a hole provided in a hard jig; cutting exposed portions of the false teeth to a depth set by a controller of a milling machine; and inserting the cut false teeth into a false teeth groove of a gum structure.
PARTIAL DENTURES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Provided herein is a method of making a flexible partial denture, which may include: (a) producing a partial denture base by additive manufacturing (e.g., bottom-up or top-down stereolithography) from a dual cure resin, with the dual cure resin comprising a light polymerizable component and a heat polymerizable component, with the denture base including at least one tooth socket; (b) inserting an acrylic artificial tooth into each at least one tooth socket to produce an assembled intermediate product; and then (c) baking said assembled intermediate product for a time sufficient to cure said heat polymerizable component in said denture base and retained dual cure resin, bond said tooth into each at least one socket with said retained dual cure resin, and produce said flexible partial denture. A flexible partial denture produced and resin formulations useful for the same are also provided.

Dental appliance design aid
A positioning feedback tool for a dental appliance takes the form of a flexible appearance strip for simulating the appearance of an installed dental appliance on a patient wearer. Dental appliances, such as dentures, rest on the gums of a wearer as functional replacements of teeth. The flexible appearance strip has visual images of dental elements (teeth) for replacing the natural teeth, and depict the size, spacing and color of the dental elements in the finished appliance. Dental elements are affixed onto a foundation mold for resembling a natural row of teeth. The foundation mold receives an imprint of the gums of the wearer, and also receives the dental elements to define the placement of the dental elements. Prior to tooth placement in the foundation mold, the flexible appearance strip is disposed against the installed foundation mold so that the patient may visualize the appearance of the finished appliance.

REMOVABLE PARTIAL DENTURE
A removable partial denture comprises a frame sized and shaped to conform to a mouth inner surface, the frame including a projecting mounting structure; and a segment having a slot for slidably receiving the projecting mounting structure when the segment is assembled to the frame. A method of fabricating a removable partial denture comprises: acquiring 3D digital image data of a patient's mouth and dentition; creating a 3D digital model of a removable partial denture; fabricating a frame shaped to conform to an inner surface of the mouth from the 3D digital model, the frame including a mounting structure; fabricating a segment from the 3D digital model, the segment having a slot for slidably receiving the mounting structure; and inserting the mounting structure of the frame into the slot of the segment to assemble the segment to the frame. The segment can be a tooth segment or a base segment.

METHOD FOR GENERATING A PARTIALLY-CURED ITEM, A PARTIALLY-CURED ITEM AND A CURED OBJECT
The invention relates to a method for partial curing of an initial photoreactive material for 3D printing, comprising the steps of:
a) providing an item (1) comprising the initial photoreactive material for 3D printing,
b) a partial irradiation step comprising irradiating at least one curing section (20) of the initial photoreactive material for 3D printing of the item with a curing irradiation, yielding at least one cured section (120) of a partially-cured item (10), and at least one semi-curing section (40) of the initial photoreactive material of the item is irradiated with a semi-curing irradiation, yielding at least one semi-cured section (140) of the partially-cured item.
