Method for producing a dental prosthesis
The invention relates to a method for producing a dental prosthesis from a prosthesis base and a plurality of prosthesis teeth, characterized by the following chronological steps: providing the prosthesis teeth and the prosthesis base, wherein the prosthesis base comprises a plurality of tooth sockets for locating the basal surfaces of the prosthesis teeth; applying a plastically deformable connecting means onto the tooth sockets and/or basally onto the prosthesis teeth; locating the prosthesis teeth into the tooth sockets of the prosthesis base and in this situation connecting with the aid of connecting means to the prosthesis base in such a way that the prosthesis teeth, after locating in the tooth sockets, are movable in relation to the prosthesis base, wherein the position and the alignment of the prosthesis teeth to the prosthesis base remain retained if no external force effect is exerted onto the prosthesis teeth; changing the position and/or the alignment of at least one prosthesis tooth in the prosthesis base; and hardening the plastically deformable connecting means, and securely connecting the prosthesis teeth in this situation to the prosthesis base, wherein the position and the alignment of the prosthesis teeth in relation to the prosthesis base are retained. The invention also relates to a dental prosthesis produced by such a method, and a set for carrying out such a method.

System and method for manufacturing layered dentures
A method of manufacturing a layered denture in which the enamel layer or the tooth layer is manufactured first and the denture base is manufactured last. The resulting denture may exhibit an enamel layer or a tooth layer with enhanced strength and/or resiliency. The resulting denture may have one or more of an integrated layer, balanced occlusion, and a root approximating structure.
Artificial teeth set including mandibular coupled artificial teeth having an arch shape and maxillary coupled artificial teeth having an arch shape
To provide a pair of maxillary and mandibular coupled artificial tooth sets applicable to alveolar ridge shapes of an unspecified large number of edentulous patients and having all the parts of 14 teeth coupled into an ideal arch shape and in an ideal maxillomandibular occlusal contact relationship. The present invention provides a pair of maxillary and mandibular coupled artificial tooth sets clearly defining an arrangement region of all parts at the time of arrangement in virtual three-dimensional coordinates, a contact relationship between maxillary and mandibular artificial teeth, and a harmonizing contact/gliding relationship at the time of movement on a mean-value articulator. This enables provision of a high-quality complete denture in which an occlusal relationship required for a complete denture can be established in a short time regardless of a skill of a technician and a difference in shape of an alveolar ridge of an edentulous patient.
SPLIT DENTURE
The invention relates to a method for configurating a split denture. A digital 3D model of the denture comprising a plurality of teeth is provided. The digital 3D model of the denture is split into a digital 3D model of a base part and a digital 3D model of a teeth part. The base part comprises a first artificial gingiva portion. Further, the base part is configured to support the teeth part. The teeth part comprises the plurality of teeth of the denture and a second gingiva portion. The teeth part is configured to be mounted on the base part. The digital 3D model of the split denture is provided for generating at least one of the base part and the teeth part.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING DENTURE WITH HIGH ACCURACY OF FITTING OF ARTIFICIAL TOOTH TO SOCKET
A method for manufacturing a denture according to comprises: preparing an artificial tooth and a denture base provided with a concave socket in which the artificial tooth is embedded; applying an adhesive to the socket; and embedding the artificial tooth in the socket to which the adhesive is applied, wherein one or more grooves are provided on at least one of a surface of the artificial tooth on the side embedded in the socket and an inner surface defining the socket, wherein the one or more grooves include a groove extending to the lingual side, and wherein the embedding the artificial tooth in the socket includes: forming a discharge hole exposing an end side of the groove extending to the lingual side from the denture base to discharge the adhesive; and discharging the adhesive from the discharge hole.
Method For Producing A Dental Prosthesis, Blank And Dental Prosthesis
A method is provided for producing a dental prosthesis from a blank using a CAD/CAM device, wherein the blank consists partially of base material and partially of tooth material, and a boundary surface between these materials is formed as a wave, the wave crests and wave valleys of which alternate with each other along the outer periphery of the blank. The apex of each wave crest extends substantially radially with respect to the blank. The CAD/CAM device fixes the position of a retention part, which serves to fasten the prosthesis to the alveolar crest of a patient, in particular of an external telescope, of a cover of a bar, or of an abutment in the prosthesis in such a way that it passes through the boundary surface. The retention part is fastened by means of gluing or incorporation by polymerisation.
