Sheet conveying apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet conveying apparatus includes: a first pair of conveying rollers for conveying a sheet; a second pair of conveying rollers against which the leading edge of the sheet conveyed by the first pair of conveying rollers is hit and which conveys the sheet together with the first pair of conveying rollers by rotating after a loop is formed on the sheet; a separating portion for separating the first pair of conveying rollers; a first conveyance path for guiding the sheet; a second conveyance path which is a path different from the first conveyance path and guides the sheet; and a controller which changes a separation timing at which the first pair of conveying rollers is separated after the loop is formed on the sheet, depending on whether the sheet is guided by the first conveyance path or by the second conveyance path.
SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
According to one embodiment, a sheet conveying device includes a conveying path forming unit and an orthogonal movement permitting part. The conveying path forming unit forms a path for conveying a sheet. The orthogonal movement permitting part is provided in the conveying path. The orthogonal movement permitting part conveys the sheet along the conveying direction. The orthogonal movement permitting part allows the sheet to move in a conveying orthogonal direction orthogonal to the conveying direction.
Sheet conveyance apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a conveyance portion, a reverse conveyance portion, and first and second conveyance regulating portions. An engagement portion contacts the first conveyance regulating portion so that it pivots in a first pivoting direction in an interlocked manner with the second conveyance regulating portion. The first and second conveyance regulating portions are arranged between the conveyance portion and the reverse conveyance portion in a first sheet conveyance direction, and an urging member urges the first and second conveyance regulating portions toward a position where the first and second conveyance regulating portions project to a first conveyance path through which the sheet conveyed from the conveyance portion toward the reverse conveyance portion is conveyed.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A printing apparatus includes a first feeding roller, a feeding motor configured to drive the first feeding roller, a second feeding roller, a conveyance roller, a conveyance motor configured to drive the conveyance roller, a printing unit configured to print the printing sheet, a detection sensor configured to detect the leading edge of the printing sheet, and a control unit configured to, when the printing unit performs a printing operation on a preceding sheet, drive the feeding motor in synchronization with the conveyance motor before the detection sensor detects the leading edge of a succeeding sheet, and continuously drive the feeding motor so that the conveying speed of the succeeding sheet by the feeding motor becomes higher than that of the preceding sheet after the detection sensor detects the leading edge of the succeeding sheet.
PRINT MEDIUM POSITION DETECTION
The present subject matter discloses detection of positions of print medium for driving the print medium for printing in a printing system, in an example implementation, a motor is operated for driving the print medium, at a first specific speed, along a media-path in the printing system. After a first specific number of rotations of the motor, it is detected, based on identification of a torque change event, that the print medium at a de-skew position in the media-path. At the de-skew position a leading edge of the print medium is at a de-skew unit of the printing system and the torque change event is indicative of a deviation in a current operating torque of the motor from a standard operating torque of the motor.
Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a print section configured to perform printing on a medium, a supply path configured to supply the medium toward the print section, a feeding roller configured to feed the medium along the supply path from an upstream side to a downstream side in a transport direction, a toothed roller provided on the downstream side of the feeding roller in the transport direction, a drive source configured to rotate the feeding roller and the toothed roller, and a controller configured to control driving of the drive source. The controller performs rotation control for rotating the feed roller prior to the rotation of the toothed roller with which the medium has collided. The controller performs the rotation control when the controller determines that the grammage of the medium is greater than or equal to a threshold value.
DOCUMENT CONVEYING APPARATUS, IMAGE READING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A document conveying apparatus is provided with a document tray and a discharge tray disposed below the document tray. The document tray includes an upper tray member, a lower tray member, a movable tray member, and a driving portion configured to move the upper tray member and the movable tray member integrally to a raised position and a lowered position. The movable tray member is configured to be moved in a width direction between a first position and a second position in which the movable tray member is retracted into below the upper tray member. The document tray includes a shutter configured to cover a gap created between the upper tray member and the lower tray member. The gap is created by the upper tray member and the movable tray member being moved to the raised position and the movable tray member being moved to the second position.
Medium conveying apparatus
A medium conveying apparatus includes a first conveying path, a second conveying path that is connected to the first conveying path, a third conveying path that is connected to the first conveying path and the second conveying path, and a skew corrector that blocks a first space between the first conveying path and the second conveying path when a medium conveyed along the first conveying path is skewed, and retreats from the first space when the medium is not skewed, wherein the skew corrector retreats from a second space between the second conveying path and the third conveying path when blocking the first space, and blocks the third space between the first conveying path and the third conveying path when retreating from the first space.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS WITH DIVERTING MECHANISM AND METHOD FOR DIVERTING IMAGE RECEIVING MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus has an image forming section configured to form an image on an image receiving medium conveyed along a conveyance path from a cassette thereto, a diverted conveyance path connected to the conveyance path at a first point on the conveyance path upstream of the image forming section, a movable guide that is controlled to guide the image receiving medium along a first path that includes a second point on the conveyance path downstream of the first point or a second path that includes the diverted conveyance path, a group of sensors positioned to detect at least two positions of a leading edge of the image receiving medium before the image receiving medium is guided by the movable guide, and a controller configured to control the movable guide to guide the image receiving medium along the first or second path based on detection results of the sensors.
AUTOMATIC DOCUMENT FEEDING DEVICE
An automatic document feeding device having a main body, a stopping assembly, an actuating assembly and a controller. The main body has a sheet conveying channel of a curvature shape. A sheet feeding roller assembly and a sheet conveying roller assembly are arranged on the sheet conveying channel. The stopping assembly is arranged between the sheet feeding roller assembly and the sheet conveying roller assembly. The stopping assembly is capable of being located in or out of the sheet conveying channel. A buffering channel is located between the stopping assembly and the sheet feeding roller assembly. The controller is electrically connected with the actuating assembly and the sheet feeding roller assembly. The controller controls the actuating assembly to hold the stopping assembly in the sheet conveying channel to block the sheet conveying channel in a predetermined period, and then controls the actuating assembly to stop holding the stopping assembly.
