BAG ENGAGING DEVICE
An assembly (10) to engage seemingly closed bags (11) that contain a product. The assembly (10) includes a conveyor (14) that has a length (16) that is moved in a conveying direction (17). A compression device (24) is adjustable in respective distance from the length (17) by a parallelogram arrangement. The compression device (24) engages the bags (11) and compresses the bag (11) against the length (12), with sensors (33 and 34) providing a signal indicative of the depth of the bags (11), and therefore a signal indicative of bags (11).
Star wheel mounts
Examples described herein include a star wheel mount that includes a support element. The support element includes a first clip element coupled to a first end to engage a first mounting element on a media handler housing, and a second clip element coupled to a second end opposite the first end to engage a second mounting element on the media handler housing. The star wheel mount also includes a star wheel support axle coupled to hold a star wheel in a plane perpendicular to a surface of the media handler housing.

SEPARATOR SUCTION DEVICE WITH ROTARY ACTUATOR
A separator suction device that corrects warpage without damaging stacked separators is provided. The separator suction device is capable of suctioning and conveying a separator stored in a state where a plurality of the separators are stacked. The separator suction device includes a first arm that includes a first suction portion capable of suctioning the separator by a negative pressure, a second arm that includes a second suction portion capable of suctioning the separator by a negative pressure, and a turning mechanism that moves the first arm and the second arm to selectively arrange the first arm and the second arm at any one of a follow-up position to follow a warped shape of the separator or a correction position to correct the warpage of the separator.
Image recording apparatus
An image recording apparatus for recording an image on a sheet includes a recording section which records the image on the sheet in a transport passage for transporting the sheet in a transport direction and multiple plates which are spaced apart from each other in a widthwise direction. These multiple plates include a first type of plate and a second type of plate. Plates of a first type of plate are configured to overlap a sheet when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the transport direction and the widthwise direction, while plates of the second type of plate do not.

Suction apparatus and printing apparatus
A suction apparatus includes a support portion, a plurality of suction holes formed in the support portion, a suction mechanism configured to perform suction from an outer side of the support portion toward an inner side through the plurality of suction holes, a lighting unit provided on the inner side of the support portion for each region of the support portion, a light transmitting portion configured to transmit light emitted by the lighting unit to the outer side of the support portion, and a control unit configured to control the lighting unit, in which the control unit makes a lighting state of the lighting unit corresponding to a suction region in which suction at the support portion is enabled different from a lighting state of the lighting unit corresponding to a non-suction region in which the suction at the support portion is disabled.
Print medium buffering
The present disclosure discloses print-medium buffering systems that have a set of print-medium-buffer flags (25) which, in one position, maintain a print medium in a guided path (G) as it passes through a print-medium buffer zone. A drive mechanism (30) is provided to move the set of print-medium-buffer flags away from the guided path, to a second position.
