Sheet processing apparatus and image forming apparatus
There is provided a sheet processing apparatus with improved visibility of a sheet bundle discharged without post-processing thereto. The CPU circuit receives the conveyed sheet, drives and controls the sheet-returning paddle, the rack part, the rear end regulation part, the alignment plate and the like and forms sheet bundle comprising of a plural number of sheets as received. Further, the CPU circuit drives and controls the alignment plate when discharging the sheet bundle S from the processing tray, the sheet bundle S exceeding the number of sheets which can be post-processed by the stapler. Therefore, the sheet bundle S which includes sheets equal to the allowable number of sheets for post-processing of the sheet processing unit is discharged to the second discharge position which is different from the first discharge position.

SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
In accordance with an embodiment, a sheet processing apparatus comprises a processing tray, a longitudinal alignment mechanism, a horizontal alignment mechanism and an interlocking mechanism. The processing tray can stack a sheet. The longitudinal alignment mechanism includes a rotatable paddle. The longitudinal alignment mechanism can align the sheets stacked on the processing tray in a sheet conveyance direction. The horizontal alignment mechanism includes a horizontal alignment plate movable in a sheet width direction orthogonal to the sheet conveyance direction. The horizontal alignment mechanism can align the sheets placed on the processing tray in the sheet width direction. The interlocking mechanism interlocks the paddle in the sheet width direction in synchronization with the movement of the horizontal alignment plate in the sheet width direction.

SHEET POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
When performing an alignment process on a sheet loaded on the processing tray in a state where a front end of the sheet is protruded from a discharge outlet above a discharge tray, the control unit performs a front end alignment process in which a pair of discharge tray cursors sandwich the front end of the sheet protruded above the discharge tray in the width direction, and a rear end alignment process in which the pair of processing tray cursors sandwich a rear end of the sheet on the processing tray in the width direction.
Conveying device and image forming apparatus incorporating the conveying device
A conveying device includes a first pair of nipping rollers, a second pair of nipping rollers, a position corrector configured to correct a position of a recording medium in a width direction of the recording medium, an end position detector configured to detect an end position of the recording medium in the width direction, and circuitry configured to, in adjustment of the end position detector, stop conveying the recording medium in response to arrival of a leading end of the recording medium at the end position detector, cause the position corrector to move the recording medium toward an outside of the conveyance passage in the width direction to a position at which the end position detector is covered by the recording medium, adjust the output of the end position detector, and cause the end position detector to detect the recording medium.
SHEET POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCLUDING SAME
A sheet post-processing device includes a conveying member, a processing tray, a processing section, a reference plate, an alignment member, a holder drive unit, and a control unit. The alignment member includes a paddle holder supported in a swingable manner along a carry-in direction, and an alignment paddle supported in a rotatable manner at a swinging end of the paddle holder. The holder drive unit moves the alignment paddle in a reciprocating manner, between a reference position to retreat the paddle part above a top sheet placed on the processing tray and an acting position to allow the paddle part to contact with a top surface of the sheet. When the number of the sheets carried in onto the processing tray is increasing, the control unit continuously moves the acting position of the alignment paddle in a direction separating from the processing tray.
SHELVING SYSTEM WITH SINGLE PRODUCT PICK-UP AND NON-RETURNABLE MECHANISMS
A cooler for storing and dispensing products is disclosed. The cooler includes a housing having an open access. A first glider and a second glider are disposed on a shelf interior of the housing, with a front end closer to the open access and a back end. The first and second gliders each has a partition and a pushing mechanism. The partition can prevent a user from reaching the products on both the first and second gliders at the same time with a single hand. The pushing mechanism can be adjustable between a locked condition to inhibit a movement of the products from the front end to the back end and a released condition to allow a movement of the products from the front end to the back end.
