PAPER CONVEYANCE DEVICE CONVEYING PAPER, IMAGE READING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A paper conveyance device includes a roller, paper feed sensor, registration sensor, and controller. At a first time point at which specified time from start of draw of paper by the roller to arrival of the paper at the registration sensor has passed, when a detection result by the registration sensor is absence of the paper and a detection result by the paper feed sensor is presence of the paper, and the detection result by the paper feed sensor is the absence at a second time point at which standby time has passed from the first time point, the controller sets a safe paper feed mode in which the draw of the paper by the roller is started at a delay time point at which delay time has passed since a switching time point at which the detection result by the registration roller is switched from the presence to absence.
PARALLEL EDGE GUIDES FOR SHEET OFFSET
A device for offsetting sheets as they are conveyed in a paper path toward a stacker includes a narrow channel mounted to a set of linked arms which when moved in a process direction (upstream-downstream) articulate in a cross process direction (inboard-outboard) to register the sheets at various locations for stacking or finish processing. The linked arms keep the channel parallel to the paper path at all times regardless of inboard-outboard offset.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming unit; a first re-conveyance guide that guides a sheet on which an image is formed in a re-conveying direction; a second re-conveyance guide that guides the sheet from the first re-conveyance guide toward the image forming unit; a side guide provided at one end portion of the second re-conveyance guide in a widthwise direction to regulate the sheet; a side chute provided at one end portion of the first re-conveyance guide in the widthwise direction; and an engaging portion provided on the second re-conveyance guide. The engaging portion is engaged with a first engaging portion extending downward from an upstream end portion of the side guide in the re-conveying direction and is engaged with a second engaging portion provided on a downstream end portion of the side chute in the re-conveying direction.
Detachable feed roller for using in the automatic feeder
A detachable feed roller for using in the automatic feeder includes: a rotating shaft provided with a first connection structure arranged at the end of the rotating shaft and an actuating part; a fixed feed roller arranged around the rotating shaft and driven by the rotating shaft; a one-way feed roller arranged around the rotating shaft and provided with a cam part; a transmitting rotor arranged around the rotating shaft and, the transmitting rotor being disposed between the actuating part and the cam part; wherein, the transmitting rotor is pushed toward the one-way feed roller while the rotating shaft rotates forward in accordance to the transmitting rotor; and pushed away from the one-way feed roller while the one-way feed roller rotates forward in accordance to the transmitting rotor.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONVEYANCE APPARATUS
To provide a printing apparatus and a conveyance apparatus that are capable of preventing a cut position to be cut by a cutting unit from deviating, in a printing apparatus in which printing is performed by a printing unit on a printing medium that is conveyed by a conveyance unit and the printing medium is cut by a cutting unit while being conveyed by the conveyance unit and a conveying force apply unit, the sconveying force apply unit is arranged on an outer side relative to the cutting unit and configured to apply a conveying force to the printing medium in a direction outward in a width direction from an upstream to a downstream in a conveyance direction.
SHEET STACKING APPARATUS, POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet stacking apparatus includes an ejector, a stacker, a wall, and an upper surface detector. The ejector ejects a sheet, and the stacker stacks the sheet ejected from the ejector. The wall contacts a trailing end of the sheet ejected from the ejector in an ejection direction to align the sheet. The upper surface detector detects an upper surface on a trailing end side of the sheet stacked on the stacker in the ejection direction. When the sheet moves toward the wall, the upper surface detector moves from a home position in which the upper surface detector detects the upper surface of the sheet to a retracted position in which the upper surface detector does not contact the sheet moving toward the wall.
SHEET TRANSPORT DEVICE, IMAGE READING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet transport device includes a transport unit, a load section, and a sheet accommodation section. The transport unit has a transport path along which a sheet read at a read position is transported to an output unit. The sheet output by the output unit is loaded onto the load section. The sheet accommodation section is disposed downstream in an output direction of the sheet from an inner wall surface extending upward adjacent to the load section and has a recess capable of accommodating a sheet of a predetermined minimum size. A retrieval space through which the sheet accommodated in the sheet accommodation section is retrievable is provided by exposing the transport path in a direction opposite to a loading direction of the sheet.
Method and device for correcting deviation of paper medium, and financial self-service device
A paper medium skew correcting device includes: a support including a pair of fixed stop plates arranged in parallel; a skew correcting tapered roller assembly including a tapered roller, a reference plate located at a large end face of the tapered roller and a transmission shaft; a tapered cover plate covering on the tapered roller with a skew correcting passage formed between an inner wall of the tapered cover plate and an outer wall of the tapered roller, an auxiliary pressure roller mechanism is mounted on an outer wall of the tapered cover plate and is configured to press a paper medium against the outer wall of the tapered roller tightly, the tapered cover plate is provided with an opening; and a driving transmission assembly. The device fully uses combined action of centrifugal force and friction force to realize skew correction and conveying of the paper medium.
Sheet conveyance device and image forming apparatus
A sheet conveyance device includes: a container that accommodates loaded sheets; a feeding mechanism that continuously feeds the sheet from the container; a conveyance path on which the sheet is conveyed; and a pitch adjustment mechanism provided on the conveyance path and which adjusts a pitch of a preceding sheet and a subsequent sheet, wherein the pitch adjustment mechanism includes a pitch adjustment roller pair including a first pitch adjustment roller and a second pitch adjustment roller that sandwich the conveyance path and are in pressure contact with each other, the first pitch adjustment roller is driven and rotated in a direction following a sheet conveying direction, the second pitch adjustment roller is driven and rotated in the direction following a sheet conveying direction, and the second pitch adjustment roller is connected to a drive shaft that drives the second pitch adjustment roller via a one-way clutch.
SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING SAME
A sheet conveying device includes a conveying roller pair, a correction unit, and a control unit. The correction unit includes a correction roller pair and a roller holder. The control unit moves the roller holder from a reference position, and returns the roller holder to the reference position after the sheet is nipped by the correction roller pair, and after this sheet correction operation, the control unit releases the nip of the conveying roller pair. At least either a swing speed vh when returning the roller holder to the reference position, or a deflection amount of the sheet before the roller holder is returned to the reference position, is adjusted so that tension is not applied to the sheet between the conveying roller pair and the correction roller pair.
