Fixed hybrid dental attachment assembly and methods of use
A frictionally-retained detachable dental attachment assembly or anchor device is designed to attach a dental appliance with a tooth root or implant. The assembly includes a denture attachment housing for securing in the dental appliance, an abutment attached with a tooth root or implant, and a compressible retention member with a first end in fixed attachment with the cap and a second end in snap engagement with the abutment via a frictionally-retained ball secured within a cavity of the abutment. The retention member is formed using a compressible material to allow the ball to compress and the retention member to flex while inserting the ball into the cavity. Additional friction-retained and fixed attachment configurations of the dental anchor device are provided, along with methods of securing a dental appliance in a subject's mouth by means of the friction-retained and fixed attachment dental anchor devices.
System and method for registering implant orientation directly from a dental impression
A layered denture having at least one of an integrated layer, balanced occlusion, and a root approximating structure is disclosed. The resulting denture may be suitable for use without an underlying reinforcement bar and may provide enhanced aesthetics by approximating natural dentition and roots both above and below the gum line.

Method of making dental restorations from sintered preforms
A method is provided for shaping a custom dental restoration from a preform, wherein the preform comprises a preform body and a preform stem. A method is further disclosed for generating one or more nesting positions for the restoration design within the geometry of the preform body relative to the position of the preform stem. A method is further disclosed for generating machining instructions based on the selected nesting position to optimize machining for chair-side applications.

Dental furnace
This invention relates to a device for drying at least one object containing a liquid, in particular a dental restoration object (12). Said device comprises a means for generating thermal energy acting upon the object and sufficient for increasing the temperature of the object to the boiling point. Moreover, the device includes an impingement area for impinging on the object with thermal energy and a control device (24) that is characterized by the fact that a temperature detection element (20) of the device (10) measures the temperature of the object (12), and upon reaching a trigger temperature that is at the boiling temperature, somewhat below or somewhat above thereof, emits a signal to the control device.

DENTAL DIVESTMENT METHOD AND MUFFLE
The invention relates to a dental divestment method in which dental restoration parts are divested from a cured muffle by sandblasting. In the production of the muffle molded part or moldings (20) or protrusions (58) are realized in or at the casting mold by means of a casting compound (21), said molded part or moldings or protrusions consisting of a burn-out material. They are removed after curing. The indentations produced in this way are configured as predetermined breaking points for the muffle.

Systems and methods of identifying and tracking dental molds in automated aligner fabrication systems
An aligner fabrication system combines design data and material to form a plurality of dental molds with which a plurality of aligners are formed. The aligner fabrication system includes a build assembly that defines a build surface on which the dental molds are formed. The build assembly is constructed of a plurality of individual build platforms that are removably coupled together. Each individual build platform is associated with an identification entity. The dental molds are formed on the build surface. One dental mold is formed on one individual build platform. The design data associated with the one dental mold is linkable to the identification entity on the one individual build platform.
