METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DENTAL PROSTHESES AND DENTAL PROSTHESES
The present invention describes a method for the manufacture of dental prostheses where traditional artisanal or purely manual techniques are combined or merged with other more recent ones based on digital design, which comprises obtaining a digital image of the patient's mouth, digitally designing the dental pieces (1) and the gum (4) in a personalized way for each patient, manufacturing both parts separately, mounting them by tonguing-and-grooving and finally treating the prosthesis. Furthermore, the present invention also includes a dental prosthesis that comprises at least one dental piece (1) and a gum, where both are bonded by tonguing-and-grooving means.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DENTAL PROSTHESIS
The invention relates to a method for producing a dental prosthesis from a prosthesis base and a plurality of prosthesis teeth, characterized by the following chronological steps: providing the prosthesis teeth and the prosthesis base, wherein the prosthesis base comprises a plurality of tooth sockets for locating the basal surfaces of the prosthesis teeth; applying a plastically deformable connecting means onto the tooth sockets and/or basally onto the prosthesis teeth; locating the prosthesis teeth into the tooth sockets of the prosthesis base and in this situation connecting with the aid of connecting means to the prosthesis base in such a way that the prosthesis teeth, after locating in the tooth sockets, are movable in relation to the prosthesis base, wherein the position and the alignment of the prosthesis teeth to the prosthesis base remain retained if no external force effect is exerted onto the prosthesis teeth; changing the position and/or the alignment of at least one prosthesis tooth in the prosthesis base; and hardening the plastically deformable connecting means, and securely connecting the prosthesis teeth in this situation to the prosthesis base, wherein the position and the alignment of the prosthesis teeth in relation to the prosthesis base are retained.
The invention also relates to a dental prosthesis produced by such a method, and a set for carrying out such a method.
Method and apparatus for forming a prosthetic tooth element
A method of forming a prosthetic tooth element (104) is disclosed, the method comprising depositing a first hardenable fluid material (101) at a bottom of a cavity (111) of a female mould (110) to a first level (113), the first material having a first translucency when hardened; depositing in the cavity (111), over the first material (101), a second hardenable fluid material (102) to a second level (114), the second material having a second translucency when hardened, the second translucency being less translucent than the first translucency; and inserting a male mould (120) into the cavity (111), the insertion of the male mould displacing at least a portion of the second material (102) within the cavity (111).

Method and system for fabricating a dental coping, and a coping fabricated thereby
A wax model of a required coping is produced using CNC machining techniques based on a virtual model of the coping created from digital data obtained from the intraoral cavity. The dental coping is then fabricated from the wax model.
HEAT MOLDABLE DENTURE HAVING AN EXPANDABLE PALATE
An apparatus comprises a universal fit, boil-and-bite denture that may be sold over-the-counter. The apparatus includes a first portion comprising a tooth and a second portion attached to the first portion, the second portion comprising heat moldable material. The second portion may be configured to be formed in a mouth of a user when the user bites down on the heat moldable material. A multilayered (e.g., three layered) denture includes an expandable palate. While a palate portion expands, deforms, or otherwise adjusts, a dental occlusion of the denture is maintained. The denture may be manufactured using injection molding or other layered manufacturing techniques.
